The biggest problem at Tottenham is the toxic fans who are more interested in being right about their agendas than supporting the club, Ange, the team, and the project. They are either rooting for the project to fail so they can blame Levy and ENIC because that’s their agenda to get them out or they don’t understand recruitment where you recruit players based on their qualities and fit for the team not because they have name ID and a reputation. Building a new squad takes time and patience for both recruitment and development of the current squad. Don’t get me wrong criticism can be valid however agendas and toxicity aren’t. This Club was a mess 18 months ago. There has been so much change to build a new philosophy throughout the club, rebuild the academy, overhaul a first team that was mismatched and aging. Despite all the success of changing and coming 5th while loosing Kane is incredible. This project is exciting and should be backed by everyone.

Great Example was when Man City came to the Tottenham last season. The atmosphere was very very weird never experienced it before and hope i never ever do again. A few Fans embarassed us in front of English and European Football when home Fans were seen doing the The Poznań celebration when Man City scored. I thought id seen it all, but for our own fans willing the team to fail because Arsenal would of benefited from a Tottenham Win. Manchester City might of won anyway even if the fans were behind the Team. But It was beyond a disgrace and beyond words. It just showed how Toxic our Fan base can be and an embarassment to the rest of us who are decent and want the team to be successful.

I really didn't want arsenal to win the league. Losing to city was bittersweet. I wouldn't have been upset if we won. But I would have been upset to see the scum win the league. What you guys forget is in the Good Years under Potch. The Team was very young. Kane was like 22 Erikson was about 23 Delle was about 20. We almost won the league with that team. This has vibes of that time. There is no reason to be despondent about the transfers. I do wonder if fans have trust in Ange? has Ange brought in a dud? Vicario, Van de Ven, and Johnson, did we know anything about them before signed them? no, we didn't. The Fan base as they always do was moaning that we had failed in the Transfer market. Has Ange's signings failed? Have they been duds NO Vicario has been a hit so as has Van de Ven they are a major part of our defence. I'm sure Ange isn't finished in the Transfer market yet. Be critical by all means but not now. Leave the doubts at the door and watch this team develop. Louis Bergvell excites me and so does Wilson i think we are in for a very exciting season boys

You forgot that Pep wasn't at City or didn't have the team he's built now when Spurs were challenging. Also Wenger was massively on the decline. They now have a good manager and ambitious owners. Newcastle didn't have rich owners, neither did Aston Villa. Chelsea still spending like crazy and United have new owners. Sounds good reminiscing about Poch days. But I'd say the league is more competitive now. Also when was the last time West Ham spent almost 150m in 1 window?

It’s obvious we aren’t going to spend irrationally like some of the other teams and hence why Ange is choosing to build a youthful team. If the fan base don’t have patience Ange will be out before he can get the team to where it needs to be. Then we start again and again and again.

I don't have to think every player we signed is a generational talent, but I also do not feel the need to moan and degrade every signing because they aren't big names. I don't think anyone can argue that our squad is stronger than last year, and we competed for the Top 4 till the end of the season. That should be possible again. We should have the squad to really make a run at the Europa League, and we can't do any worse in the cups than we did last year. Put them on the pitch and let's see how it goes. COYS!

This has been a 7/10 window thus far. We're almost done. This vid was done before we got Odobert but we still need a back-up LB OR a DCM. Ange said everything wouldn't get done this window but I like the strategy of building on youth. I want players with the hunger to compete with underperforming senior players. Well done Spurs!

The biggest problem in my book is the back five squad: the first five are, if not the best in the league, jolly close to being it. But the back up is weak in at least three of the five positions in comparison to many top 10 clubs, let alone title contenders. The midfield and attack may not be quite as brilliant as a first six, but the squad depth is much more uniform, stretching even to very promising academy youngsters. This problem can be solved by further signings, particularly left back/left centre back. Additions to the front six should target players walking straight into the First XI.

Goalkeeper will need to be left to next summer now, I think. Ramsdale would certainly fit the bill but unlikely to happen. Still hanker after Eze further forward.....

Good conversation Sonny and Henry. After seeing Vicario getting rattled at our friendly with Bayern Munich, I am a bit concerned about set pieces. We need to wittle down those goals conceded. As for Madders, he needs to step up, or Ange will drop him. Into the 2nd season for Ange , I think there will be far greater intensity. Bringing in Odobert will improve the wing. I agree we do need a central focus. Suppose that was why Connor Gallagher was a focus. Still think we will get a couple more over the line. Eze's release clause has now expired. We are currently the highest spender in the league. This is 5 years into our stadium. Something Arsenal didn't do for 20 years... We are never going to achieve a decent squad in just 2 years of Ange. We've let go of over 12 players.. I t would take time to replace them. Buying the most expensive is not always the solution... It seems that's what some fans are looking for. The players we bought can play now. Yes they're young but they can play in the first team. If Lamin from Barcelona was at Tottenham, some of our fans wouldn't give him a chance in the first team

Why worry about West Ham or Villa? What we do is in our own hands. We're doing what we needed to do in that we now have much greater depth, whatever the age. Everything depends on how we improve our defending. Scoring goals isn't the problem. Get with the programme

The only tweak I'd make is playing a back 3 with Cuti in the middle. This will allow him to push up into DM or further forward without exposing ourselves on transition. In turn, Biss or Betancur would also be able to get forward. This doesn't need to affect the way our FBs play.
