whats that
@moparman4406910 ай бұрын
@@thehoodticket the tors system is a the part on top of the carb from factory, that controls the idle of the bike and it has a built in gyroscope that if you get on to much of angle or hill it will shut the bike down, and they make a kit the fixes it, and deletes it, and makes it so you have manual control of the idle and less electrics too

This is the coolest blaster I have ever seen 😂…FYI If you want more power I suggest going to 34mm carb, FMF fatty pipe, 240 big bore kit from Vito’s with the stroker crank (making it a 244) …with a proper tune on the carb, I’ve seen these little motors make a respectable 39-45hp to the wheels…the big bore cylinder comes with race oriented porting already and there’s no need to machine the cases to accommodate the larger crank. It’s a pricey upgrade (bout 800 bucks) but totally worth it if you plan on trying to hang with the bigger bore machines…most of those 4 strokes you’re racing against make around 40 hp but they weigh an ass load more than the blaster….up them HPs and I promise you’ll be bringing home some checkered flags 🫡
@jessebrown90469 ай бұрын
A power upgrade and about 4 grand more, its cool to see it stock running with the stock pipe, I haven't rode a bone stock blaster in years, you can cut the pipe open, gut it and pull out the mesh and weld it back together and its damn near better then a FMF, I Dt200 swapped my blaster, ported, stoked, 35 pwk, Prix basket, magnetron ignition with a moped cdi with built in IG coil, dynoport HV, and working ypvs, it rips, I have a Vito's strokerr ported 240 motor and I might put it in my Dt bike

Not from vitos. They sold out and their products are junk now. I got vitos pistons for my banshee and the box says made in Taiwan.

Since you have the reeds and cage I’d suggest a yz85 28mm flatslide carb. The carb will fit with some persuasion but you’ll need a new throttle cable. A right bend pipe is what you really need but a Toomey b1 will work.
@1966pahandyman Жыл бұрын
try and find a duncan racing mid range pipe and a 32mm flatslide carb ditch the airbox snorkel and unplug the TORS module, but only for the dry TT races keep other carb and snorkel for muddy racing/riding.

I have a 2002 blaster and I took off the air box lid and I was told to re-jet my carburetor my main jet is stock when I re-jet do I go up in size or down in size
@JM.Performance Жыл бұрын
You’d want to go up in size for more fuel. You took the air box lid off, therefore you now have more air entering the motor so you need more fuel to compensate

@JM.Performance3 ай бұрын
Usually more aerodynamic and that much less weight (every ounce counts in this style racing) but in this case he took them off for more room when leaning from side to side since this is a small quad.

Blasters take forever to warm up. It seems like mine the only way to get it to warm up is to ride it. cause that pipe needs to be warmed up. But yea man I used to oval race my blaster on ice back in the day. They are such cool machines I just love em.
