That opening blurb about there finally being a Star Wars show with a good female lead was genius. Good on her. Even if a court in CA acts like one might expect, there's always appeals and I doubt she's unwilling to carry on until one of those goes her way. Treating employees unjustly based on their politics ought to be codified as being no different than discriminating based on the whole laundry list that's already covered. If you're not free to believe what you will and have to self-censor yourself to keep a job - you're not free.

Legal Mindset did a great vid on it the last day or so. Suing in CA under Cali law is going to help her greatly. From the literal wording of the laws in question, it truly looks like she has them dead-to-rights. I love Gina and I pray her lawsuit does bear fruit. But I was just thinking that this lawsuit will have a fairly quick and unfortunate outcome, not on the merits of the lawsuit as I do believe she has a case. But it sadly depends on where the suit is filed. I feared that it was in California and this video confirmed it. California in general has some of the strongest ant-slap law on the books. Couple that with the politics of California and the hot button issue that Elon Musk's name being attached and Gina having the ant-trans label stuck to her I again reiterate my fear the lawsuit will be tossed without cause. Again I also like to reiterate I don't wish this to be the outcome, I'd feel much more comfortable if it was filed in Florida but I'm sure if her lawyers could they would have filed there. Best of luck to her cause she's going to need it.

/sigh.... I'm so tired of the shameless plug in the middle of every video for Stealing Solo... And it's always the same. This is right along the same lines that I take issue with YellowFlash, the minute long plug at the end of every single video that is basically begging for money, and it hasn't changed in over a year. I really dislike having to pay attention to the video so that I can skip the section. I listen to the videos when I'm driving, very frequently, and it's dangerous to have to pay extra attention to the video and skip it. The repetition is getting to me and I just don't want to hear it anymore. Jeff, you're great, I love your content, but please stop with the plug.
