I really like Dustin. He was one of, if not THE VERY FIRST character I gravitated towards when I first season season 1. I hope he makes it but its the finale so anything is open and possible. What's funny about Gaten/Dustin doing the last episode table read on his birthday - is that on that day September 8, 2024 I was at the Hawkins high school filming location on one of the last week's that it was still standing before the start of the demolition. Nobody was there and it was quiet and 100% empty so i took advantage of the situation. I was there walking around one last time and I ALSO did a reenactment of the scene in season 4 episode 1 when Steve and Robin drive through the parkinglot from the middle school to the high school while the song "Object of My Desire" was playing. I even layered that track over the scene reenactment Lol. Now you cant even do that anymore cause that school is a gonner now and that TIGERS Mural is gone. That Was luck for me 😎 I knew the school was about to be demolished but i didnt think it was gonna literally start within the very next 15 days after that September 8th visit. I went back on September 22, 2024 and they had already started demolishing the school starting with the TIGERS Mural at the front outside of the school. They wanted to carefully remove the mural so they could re establish it somewhere in that town that the school was in and filmed at so people could visit those painted Mural bricks to remember the show. I recorded them doing that to the mural and was there that VERY LAST NIGHT/DAY for hours. I was able to FINALLY go into the cafeteria and gymnasium. Crazy to think that on the very next day of September 23, 2024 they had the school taped off at the entrance with caution tape etc and started the machinery and Bulldozing crushing things down starting at the back of the school where the running track/field are at. Both lucky days to have been there. Im very thankful i was able to capture the school one last time clean and not a mess and also the TIGERS Mural still standing.

But the show is definitely steering it for her and Jonathan to realise they were meant for each other. Its very clear to see in the way the left it in s4. Shows follow tropes and that is the clear trope they’re going for

I have a reason for believing the wont kill off any main characters. The reason is their previous show "Wayward Pines". They made the huge mistake of killing off everone's favorite characters and everyone hated it. They took a perfect show and ruined it. I don't think they'll make that mistake again.

Pretty sure Vecna will Target everyone this last season. He is gonna cripple them from the inside. This would make sense, if he takes Holly Wheeler then, The Wheeler will become shaken.. Probably make Nancy feels its her fault. Daunting the Vision he showed her to be real. Meaning Mike will have to become the leader in her shoes. Dustin will be targeted cause of Eddie.. In a attempt to break him from Steve. This will lead to Cursed Eddie in visions and Steve to come back to Dustin. Honestly though I think, Eleven, Will, Nancy and Hopper are the biggest threats to Vecna and he is going to do anything to up them. I think everyone else will have to step up.

I believe that in this season Vecna will target their victims differently. He fulfilled the 4 deaths, he opened the 4 gates and now his plan is different. He doesn’t have to kill people in a trance because he‘ll be able to be in Hawkins himself. This means he won’t need traumatised/broken people to kill them

Eddie said Dustin and Mike where the future of Hellfire. It sounds too unfair to kill Dustin if Eddie isn't making a return in my opinion. Would probably feel like a slap in the face to that dialogue if both Mike and him die. It looks like he's try to keep Eddie alive in his heart from the pictures I see. Wearing the hellfire shirt, darker pants, longer hair. I think it will be sad and sweet and relatable to watch Dustin grieve. Lot of fans love Eddie and wear their hellfire shirts sometimes too. The way they played in the field together proved their friendship meant something to both of them.

I think that Vecna has actually taken over the body of Max and that Max has died. Vecna was attacked by El while his physical body was being attacked by Nancy, Robin and Steve almost completely burning it to ashes, Max had to of died in order in order for the door way from the upside down into the real world to be formed which is what caused the earthquake in the first place. Vecna still needs a physical body to survive and it just so happens that Max had expired at the same time as he was attacked she was dead for over a minute before she suddenly came back to life with everyone thinking it was El who brought her back when it was Vecna who took advantage of the empty shell that Max left behind when she died. El even went inside her mind and found nothing there but empty darkness. I think Vecna will take advantage of this because he will be in the loop as to what the main characters will be planning to do to try and stop him from taking over the real world. I could see him fucking with Dustin and Mike due to Dustin going through his depression over Eddies death and the fact that Mike has a sort of connection with him from his time in the upside down so I can see a few if not most of the main character's being offed by Vecna until the remaining few figure out that he is actually the one inhabiting Max's body! I love the show and after everything that happened in the last episode of season 4, this makes the most sense as to what may happen during season 5.

I don't want anyone to die, I love all of the characters 😭 Though, I think most likely to die is Eleven. It would make sense for El to sacrifice herself to "make things right" and kill Vecna/close off the Upside Down for good, similar to season 1 where she destroyed the Demogorgon and "died". But realistically we'll lose another character or even a few 🥲 I just hope it's not Will, my boy deserves some piece and happiness in the end.
