On the 15 November the UK Supreme Court decided that the United Kingdom's policy of sending asylum seekers to Rwanda was unlawful.
In this short video Dr Kirsty Hughes explains the Court's reasoning, and considers the Government's response and possible next steps.

It is a fact that the UK has many illegal immigrants who see it as a safe haven and take great efforts to relocate here. However, the "Rwanda Agreement" cannot be the solution to illegal boat voyages because the motives behind it. Since the two main perpetrators of the boats are Albanians and Africans, my question are, "do we plan sending Albanians to Rwanda?" How will they cope with culture, food etc? Has the Albanian issue been solved with the Albanian deal that allows us to send Albanians back to Albania whenever they are apprehended for illegal emigration? I believe the deal has so my next question is "who are the people being sent to Rwanda?" because if they are not Albanians, definitely, they are the Africans. Africans are the ones being sent back to Rwanda because it is their familiar territory. The UK has targeted a particular people but hides as usual under the camouflage of law and legislation. Call it what it is, it is discrimination but packaged and sold in the usual British fashion.
What are the legal and constitutional implications of the Rwanda Bill?
