I really, really hope that I didn't offend anybody by saying that 'nobody' watches our videos over the summer. This was hyperbole and shorthand for saying that viewing figures over the summer are around half those at other times of year. This means that a) we don't recover the costs of making our videos (because we employ a professional) and b) it negatively affects our algorithm because KZbin thinks that there is something wrong with our videos now. But mostly the decision to pause is due to us needing to spend more time with our kids. If any of you who regularly watch us are missing us then please don't hesitate to send me an email through our website and I'll send you links to a couple of our private patreon videos. Even though I struggle after my holliday to keep up with all the videos I´m behind, I always succeed luckily 🙏❤ I don't want to miss out on anything😉 But I fully understand your reasons and actually I´m a bit relieved 😅 It gives me more space and less stress. I always feel so guilty when I don't manage to keep up. And that's not the point. I love watching your videos and keeping up with your lives. Please enjoy your break! Everybody deserves a holiday, and it's just the 2 of you and Margo (in her spare time!). We all have these challenges from time to time and need to cut ourselves some slack - I'm not doing much at all this summer but staying inside where it's cool (it's regularly in the high 30s-low 40s C (90s - 100s F) here the last few weeks - it was 39C/103F about 2 this afternoon.
