Most Filipinos are white. Our skins are adopted to a point that we dark easily to protect from the sun. It leaves uneven skintone. Dark spot like knees, elbows, brow and nape tends to dark faster and you are not cleaning yourself properly if you have those darker spots.

@@TravelingTalongs morena and miztizo born would eventually have the same problem of uneven skintone. I think we are past the stigma that those with darkerskin are low born that tend the fields or disobedient children that has nothing better to do but frolic under the sun. its not about contrasting colors as a race its just hygiene or love hate relationship with the sun.
