I am right with you! Well, a little behind you actually by a year. I’m going all the way for my PhD in Educational Leadership. Congrats on continuing your education - in that field your pay increase will raise substantially! I teach STEM (yes, without a piece of paper that says I know what I’m doing 😂) to be taken seriously by legislators and policy makers I must have that piece of paper that says I know my stuff. So, I’ll get it - then maybe my voice will be heard (without changing my name to Steve)

Do some research into some jobs that will be available to you once you complete your degree. You might have to get loans to go to school, but if you'll be making 2x or 3x what you're making now, you could pay the loans off rather quickly when you graduate.

Even tho I'm 11 personally I dont see the point this is how life goes birth to work to even more years of work then to elder then death and if we don't do that stuff we end up starving to death so this is why I disagree I'm a child but I already gave up on my dreams I wanted to become a scientist when I grow up but I hate math after I figured out you need math for everything that broke me forever now every time i go home from school I cry my self to sleep knowing I'll be doing this kind of stuff until I die as I said this is personal for me I may be a child but I know a little how love works how people work how school works when I was 7 I was all like " i want to have a wife be a good worker have fun and live long " but now my life is already filled with despair one of the things that also made school hard for me is my principle I was blamed for doing something I didn't do I tried to say something but she wouldn't listen cuase I'm a child and then I was blamed for lying another day she said " Hey I told you not to do that now you lie that you didnt hear me your close to the door you say your freind talking to me and you say you heard nothing " I was telling my freind to come because my teacher called the class and I thought he was talking to random parent after that half of the class hated me then when I was mad the teacher said if you will behave that way I'll send to back to the principle also my principles name is Dr. Castain now any other people who disagree with me saying " but you did do something wrong " fine say that I don't care all I'm complaining about is that I have to go back to school after all my life is only bad enough I'm trying to enjoy my last days of summer and ignore the fact my life span is shortening goodbye I hope you have a better life :(

Dont, keep learning. You will live out there doing something, it might be boring, difficult, competetive( bullying)or you might fail. But you will learn and it will help you figure out who you are in the process. Then, you will discover what works for you. Giving up sometimes is ok, but dont let those temporary situations or feelings put you off.
