Actually no. Social media has become toxic for that exact reason. These days, there is only one right way to say things without "hurting someone's feelings" or getting cancelled. People are allowed to have their own opinions and if you don't like it you can move on. No one owes you an explanation or a "disclaimer." That's ridiculous.

@@lisab5592 I agree with you. It can happen anytime. But I hated to be alone. I always had the wish to have a boyfriend, get married and all this stuff. Romantic and stupid but without the highschool movie attitude. It was bad for me. There were a few boys and men who wanted to date with me but honestly... No... Just... No. But on the other side if you're single and your fine with it, be happy be confident. I have a friend she decided to thay without having a relationship and she is one of the happiest human beings I've ever known. But it's not right for me. Long story short if you're happy be it! Have you met teenagers these days?! My neighbors daughter is 13 getting her phone taking away constantly for giving dudes on the internet her number. I cannot imagine having five amazing beautiful daughters, there just aren’t enough shot guns! Their parents are so blessed to have such good amazing kids with such a great Christian moral value and watching them go through those hard teen years and early 20s and choose not to forsake their moral value. Their parents must be amazing parents and very proud. I bet people ask that about them being single so long because they all have such unique good natured and funny personalities that it just shines a spot light on their beauty
@Caitzeee3 жыл бұрын
Most people have a boyfriend or a relationship in their teens so it can be considered a long time if they get into their first relationship in their 20’s for example! I am 21 now and I have never had a boyfriend! That could be considered a long time!

Just turned 25 today. I’ve never had a serious relationship. I just haven’t met anyone who I feel would be a good partner yet. Still trying to figure out what exactly I want to with my life and feeling like I should already have it all figured, along with a good amount of savings, plans for the future, a stable job and relationship etc. No debt but also legit no money. No friends, as I had to leave a very toxic friend group that was mostly old high school friends. Scared I’ll be alone and lost forever but at the same time hopeful that it might work out somehow.

@@cuca_ I just graduated a few days ago with my associates degree and accepted into university for my bachelors degree. I had to complete an internship for school so I met some really great people and made some connections which landed me a part time position for now. I’ve been dating and although I haven’t met the one yet, I’m definitely more hopeful and confident. I did make some work friends and since I don’t have schooling and internships to keep me busy, I’m going to work on making some real friends! I used to feel pretty lost and unfocused but now I set little goals and use things to help motivate me. I let myself have time and give myself self care and rewards. Honestly I’m in such a great headspace and shocked at how much I’ve accomplished in just two years!! It’s never too late.

My best friend was single for years, and eventually she just gave God the reins and asked Him to do whatever he wanted. A week later she met a guy who she is now in a very serious relationship with. It just goes to show that as soon as you give up on what you want, you’ll get what you need.

If both people in a household work, both should do the chores - not just one, imo. If you see something needs done, do it if you have time - not imply why the other person hasn't. Implement this now, before you're 10-15 years down the road and burned out from always giving too much of yourself.

this was such a great convo! I too am single. For myself though, it's because I am waiting for who I think God has for me. It's hard being a Christian young lady bc we don't have all the men in the world at our fingertips. If we want a man who loves God too, sometimes we have to wait a little longer than others. But I know it'll be worth the wait!

Amy, I've also never been in a relationship because I always friendzone myself!😂 My fear comes from a place of rejection/abandonment. I hate losing friends, so I'm afraid if I tell a girl that I like her, she won't feel the same way, and then things will get awkward and I might lose her friendship. So I'd rather suffer in silence and stay friends than to speak up and risk losing her.

Something I observed in the first 6 minutes: the conversation dynamic between Amy and Christina is so bizarre. Amy will ask a question a pointed question to her (out of genuine respect and interest, I'm assuming) and then Christina will answer the question to everyone else while pointedly ignoring Amy. Christina, she even complimented you a few times and you had no reaction. Can you please comment on this? The majority of North American, socialized people would interpret this as rude behaviour on your part. And it's happened in many other videos too, prior to any hormonal changes and the like. You're a good Christian woman, can you please answer my questions in good faith?

I am like Amy in that I'm 25 and single and never been in a serious relationship, however I think my reasoning is a bit different. I am overweight and I have a major fear of being rejected, so I rather not put myself out there and not get hurt then put myself out there and have that fear of being rejected come true. I also always (similar to Amy) assume that any passes guys make are just them being friendly, as I guess I don't see how anyone can be actually interested in me. I feel like that sounds really pathetic and sad and I'm working to have a better self image, but alas it is still an issue I'm trying to over come.
