Right on the money. This mediocre 20 plus year business failure has been off the radar because fans generally have low tolerance for mediocrity and failure. If the league, now blessed with an opportunity to climb out of the sewer, continues to rough up the golden goose then after a year or two Caitlyn and other true stars will move on and the WNBA will settle back into the same non-profit circus that it was before Caitlyn appeared on the scene. The reason why the wnba is hating on Caitlin Clark is because the wnba is who is mostly black and mostly lesbian with racist, heterophobic, jealous insecurities is why they are hating on Caitlin Clark who is white, heterosexual, is a phenomenal basketball player who's is the epitome of professionalism and class, who has single handedly caused ticket sales for the Wnba's games to literally quadruple in numbers, who single handedly has caused the number of viewers of the Wnba's games to literally skyrocket from thousands way up into the millions of viewers, who's already as a rookie continues to keep breaking records in stats as well as record numbers of viewers and ticket sales. That's why and it's all blatantly obvious to everyone who either is a fan or viewer of this season's Wnba's games.

Notice how NBA vets welcome the new rookie class with open arms whereas some WNBA vets act like they have a chip on their shoulder and rookies are intruders in their domain. It's really a sign of some deep-seated insecurity in the OG that will hold back the growth of the league.

Babe Ruth hit 60 home runs in 154 games. Roger Maris did not hit his 60th home run until game 159. And he broke that record with homer #61 in game #162. Although that record has since been broken by Mark McGwyer and Barry Bonds, for several years Maris was the home run king. So Swoopes proclamation that a record should be considered broken only if it was done within the same number of games as the old record is meaningless.

She is not them. She is different in so many ways. She is low key, keeps a low social profile and has shown her selflessness, as a teammate, by the number of assists she had in college. Then, there is the talent. This kind of talent doesn’t come along very often and, when it does, people recognize it right away. It too is different. It stands head and shoulder above most other great players. She has the gift. And the others, although very good, don’t exude greatness. They remain jealous, vindictive and hating. Time will shut them all up. She will raise revenue, bring in hundreds of thousands of fans, and stir up the fan base to a greater extent than has been true for decades.

The ladies of the WNBA need to understand records are meant to be broken. Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer didn't hate on Tiger Woods when he broke the scoring records at the Masters. Jim Brown or Walter Payton didn't hate on Emmitt Smith when he broke the all-time rushing record. Kareem didn't hate on LeBron when he broke the all-time scoring record. Women need to support each other when they do that their sport will be liked. No one wants to watch women be catty and bicker in basketball, they watch it to watch basketball. If viewers want catty and bickering, they just watch RHW of whatever city.

Sportsmanship is KEY to the athletes coming up in this generation - and to pave the way for future generations. We are to help establish a long-perspective view of what it REALLY is to work and play as a team. My SERIOUS advice to any young and upcoming athlete from someone who learned (always learning) many hard lessons about integrity, humility, and character while playing several sports in junior high and high school: WE MUST remember this one truth - "Your talent will take you where your character won't keep you." Three attributes of a well-balanced and sound-mind athlete - humility (it's not a weakness but exercising self-control and strength restrained), integrity (it has lacked in past well-known sports athletes in over three decades, maybe even more), and character (this attribute will not only OPEN DOORS for you but will serve you well long after you leave the limelight and sports arenas). All this to say to - Angela Reese and Caitlin Clark - you both have a golden opportunity to play with these attributes and cut the head OFF of the MSM. You don't have to abide by sensationalism rules but rise to the occasion of playing and behaving as the young woman you were made to be - young women of excellence. This matters not just for you both and the roles you play in front of the cameras BUT behind closed doors. God is all about honoring those who seek to humble themselves and serve in unity. May God bless your journeys and instill a desire to love one another in all seasons. It's hard but NOT impossible!

I don't know, I admire her. But perhaps it bothers them that they used to be disproportionately underpaid, exploited from their university days for the profit of foreign exploiters, fought for many years and eventually started winning and getting concessions, better contracts and recognition of their personal qualities, and today's young stars come out as winners to what they fought for as fighters who get no deserved recognition for it? No one will give them back the money and media fame that strangers and calculating people have wrongfully credited to their accounts? In time, hopefully soon, there will be a consensus and mutual understanding, there is no reason to blame the youth of today, Caitlin Clark specifically, for the faults of other people and old and different times.

I would take it as a compliment. When, in the history of professional sports, did an exceptional player not garner hate? I've never seen that, ever, period. The complaints are almost all the same, too soon, special treatment, too much money, too many opportunities, too much attention, etc. Just go back and look at any rising sports star from any league. It is a familiar script. One big difference now is that social media is king, and the peanut gallery is enormous. People can certainly argue about the race and orientation issues and those can be legitimate conversations, but let's be real. If Caitlin played badly, few people would be making the negative comments that they are. The way to get the bag is to play like a baller. People seem like they can't handle the truth that regardless of any reason or treatment, Caitlin is an incredible basketball player. There are issues that need to be addressed from a social standpoint, but let's face it, Caitlin's got game.

I wish I could have been the first trans WNBA player. I'd love to play in those conditions...OH, but I could dunk. Disqualified...And shoot, and play legal defense, etc. Not to mention ref better then 99.9% of their refs... WHAT A TRASH LEAGUE!!! This narrative is just an extension of what is seen playing out on social media and other societal settings: in general, women and men handle team/group competition differently. Both can be fiercely competitive with each other within their genders. Both can experience jealousy and envy. Men commonly sacrifice their individual feelings for the ultimate goal of team victory. Women, however, seem to have more trouble doing this. Their individual emotions often take precedence over a collective cooperative effort, to the detriment of team success, and, ultimately their own individual ones. From a macrosocietal perspective, men have long perfected their approach throughout history in which cooperative group efforts reigned supreme. Whether in military, commercial, political or sports contexts, subordination of the individual to the team has been the most successful approach. Women, in their historically different roles, have much less experience in a team concept. Their experiences have been more domestic and relational, in which individual competitiveness is dominant over the gender group. In modern times, these roles have evolved but are still affected by the influence of the past.

The old wnba dislikes Caitlin first and foremost because she is head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the league. She makes other teams look foolish every game. Also shes white and the racists (wnba) can't handle it. The commentators bring up the racists issues because that's all they can do. She's the best player the wnba has.. As whoopi 'put it' - deal with it.!! If the time issue were in effect, (on records Caitlin beat) Hank Aaron wouldn't not have beaten Ruth's record.

This is written before I hear your video. If you think it is anything other than being strait, white and attractive, you are wrong. After watching your video, it is NOT about Angel Reese. Chicago has a HUGE banner of Caitlin Clark hanging. Chicago, for a game with lowly Indiana, changed venues from 4200 seats up to 17,000 seats and sold tickets which in the old venue were started at $88.00, were now started at $275.00 and got up to $9151.00. After the Caitlin Clark game, Chicago, and Angel Reese went back to a 4200 seat unfilled stadium. Cheryl Swoops, before CC even started, lied about CC's years in college, which was 4, NOT 5. She also claimed CC was 25, when she was actually 22 + 2 weeks. You left off her record of out scoring the MALE record holder, Pete Maravich. She does NOT "only focus on her game," she focuses on her game, her professionalism and her ever present fans!
