As believing (convinced) Muslims, something like this shouldn't be a topic that needs a discussion. Muslim women always see the prophet how he behaved towards his wives. Instead of seeing how the prophet's wives behaved towards the prophet. Women in general always try to shape men according to their ideas. Believers try to shape themselves into good ones. The woman's paradise lies at the feet of her husband.... Think about it....

Cheating in marriage is adultery full stop and there is no justification for it. If a woman or man is unhappy or bored in an abusive or unfulfilled marriage then there are other 'moral' ways to solve the issue or come to a compromise; and divorce may be disapproved of but it is allowed.

So, do you think the problem will be solved by saying "fear Allah"? All I see is Ali Dawah giving the insight of women's reasons to cheating from a Muslim perspective. I don't agree with whatever they say and obviously they don't represent the majority but at the same time, we cannot bring the majority to the show, however we can see why we think they do it but we'll take it with a pinch of salt. So just don't go tossing around saying fear Allah as if that is the solution to everything and if it is and it was the solution of solving problems (always) then we would see it in the life of the prophet PBUH addressing these issues by saying "fear Allah" (always) but we don't we see he addresses them with wisdom. It's like the hadith of the man who killed 99 people you didn't see the solution to him was to say fear Allah instead we see a wisdom to how we approach the sinners.

Life is hard, sometimes we lose ourselves or struggle with health this is when we need our partner the most. We have to distinguish someone mistreating someone and someone who needs help or is lost, can happen to anyone. If you think you are justified in your responses to Allah, then leave the person but nothing will ever absolve anyone of cheating. @@Jessicaro Why do you believe women? Women say one thing but always mean another. Women say they want xyz and when given they are not happy in the long term, that happiness dissapears after few hours at best. Just because it makes her happy doesnt mean it makes her respect him. There are studies to show women do change what they want depending on where they are on their hormonal cycle. A man almost always provide love but she ignores it. He works hard because he loves his wife, he protects her during dangerous situations, but she ignores him. Women have to earn their love from their husband. Its not free. Men want to love. Those women that complain 99% of the time they nag, they overlook what he does for her to look at what he didnt do for her, they make him feel less of a man, they dont let him lead, talk back, bring up his weak momemts from the past just to name a few. Common thing with women is they listen to respond and not listen to hear. Brother Mahdi didn't say don't make them happy, he's saying what women generally THINKS makes them happy, ISN'T what actually makes them happy. What DOES make them happy, is what he's suggesting. Don't be brother, these are opinions which reflect their personal experiences and some from areas of assumption. It is very simple, if someone cheats it is 100% on them as there's no excuse or reason for it from Allah. Find your match, someone who understands you and someone you understand and build YOUR marriage which works for you. Every marriage is different and the only working formula is the one which works for you. The only things we need to take away from this is, bad people do bad things... I think its just women in general and they don't have to be muslim where they have unrealistic standards and when those standards aren't met they would either cheat, lose interest show attitude to the husband but it's up to you as a man to use your judgement to the best of your ability and understand the psychology of women when you speak to her for the first time, i.e if she emphasizes the importance of looking after her husband and takes interest the things you like the man will show the appreciation back and both with be happy

Bro this only happens in the west trust me. This show is haram full of free mixing and fitna. Ask any reputable scholar they’ll tell you the same. I grew up in east and cheating there especially among women is very rare. However moving to west for uni I heard so many stories a lot of these guys have implemented the western lifestyle so they face the same problems. I’m making Hijra and I promised myself that I’d never raise kids in west!

@@luluah1198 your seriously comparing Muslim majority countries where 90%+ population is Muslim vs minorities in the west? I’ve live in the GCC and South Asia for many years. I know what I’m talking about. I’m not denying it happens there but relatively the levels are no where near that you believe. It’s just cause when the entire population is Muslim you’re bound to find bad apples. Still in the west where Muslims are a minority the filth that happens here can’t be compared with all due respect. Its cause in the west degeneracy is socially accepted unlike in the east. There’s a reason why Sharia doesn’t permit settling among Kuffars permanently and no way id ever raise kids in the west. Regardless may Allah guide us and keep us all steadfast on the Deen!

The lack of accountability from those sisters about the actions of some of these women is honestly scary. There are acting as if those women that cheat cannot communicate with their husbands about the lack of emotional attention, or as if they couldn’t just leave the marriage. Cheating is a choice, they made the choice to put themselves in that position to cheat, and that has NOTHING to do with the husband/wife. Either side can always leave. In some relationships, the man was giving everything to their wife emotionally, physically, and financially. That doesn’t stop them from cheating.

what is this? all I heard was justification for cheating and that the man was to blame for it. and narsicism where you seek your happiness like this world was meant to be Jannah. if you aren't happy it's part of life don't cheat or jump ship and seek it else where work through it. also, the emotional instability women have its also her responsibility to be self-aware and reflect on it that this is something that happens to her and try not to make the husband tiptoe around her. no matter how considerate he is as a human being we can't be perfect now does that give her the justification to blame her husband for not knowing her?

To say that working and providing coming home, having to deal with what ever issues there are at home, whether if its from the wife/children or parents/family amongst other things, isn't tough enough, we are expected to perform accordingly and we are scrutinised by general society and the women in our lives if we fail at any part of it. Women need to be considerate about this. you cant expect everything to be handed to you in this life like that, there are some things you'll have to compromise. best way to put it; You are not owed happiness, do not expected it to come from worldly things, that is including your spouse, good things will come and go, be grateful for them, but do not depend on them to keep you happy. Instead look towards abiding to your duties to your partner, this is something you must do, and if there is something that you need, communicate that with your husband. to assume that all mean are can't take care of their women is cruel as there are so many things a man can do for his wife that is left unnoticed. if you had a son, and you knew how vulnerable he was when you first held him, then he grew up and become a man and got married, and his wife berated him for not giving enough to her, when you know yourself how much he does, only then you will truly realise how tough we have it.

There are many who think along the lines of the speakers hence the importance of having a diverse group of speakers so everyone can relate to someone subjectively, then we can use the Sunnah to get everyone to a good place objectively. I want to say that in any relationship, the key to a good relationship is having the correct communication skills for that relationship. As a man, you should make every single person in your household feel genuinely heard and understood and that you will consider what they have said in whatever decision you are making, but ultimate final say is down to you. Between wife and husband, you need to be best friends that are able to discuss and even argue over things. Tension is not a bad thing as long as you make up and it doesn't happen continuously. Relationships need balance, not too much one way or the other.

And also a man that is the sole breadwinner in some circumstances, can be stressed out alot and end up neglecting unintentionally, so does that make it OK for the wife to cheat?? There is no way to justify cheating for the husband nor wife. And if there is so much neglect that she needs to cheat, then shouldn't she end the marriage and then do whatever she wants with any other man? The whole premise is predicated upon the idea that a woman cheats because of what her husband has done. The reality is that a pure woman would never cheat regardless of what her husband does and if the marriage is irreparable then she would seek khula. A woman who would cheat is described as vile in the Quran. Also this applies equally to a man who cheats, both are described by Allah as vile. There is never an excuse for cheating and the punishment in the sunnah is death. This program is a effort from the shaytan to normalise and find excuses for such vile behaviour. Know that the vast majority of muslims are not fooled by this and keep their purity InshaAllah, it is only the vile that fall into this then try to justify it. Shame on Ali Dawah and those that seek to say the cheating has any excuse none of this is justified in the Quran.

When brother Sajjid critisized this kind of settings i didn't agree with him at first but now i get his point... I have all respect for the brothers doing da'wa for the sake of Allah 'azzawajal and for trying to help the umma, but this goes to far. Yes, we shouldn't be shy to discuss any subject. But there's a place & time for this kind of talks. It should be done with qualified people and not with random people online where everybody has there own bagage & opinions. I write this because a thought crossed my mind while watching; Would Ali sit his wife in front of these men to engage in this kind of talks? That's a sincere question and i hope Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala guides us all. At least he should blur the women's faces like he does with his wife and separate them from the men with a curtain.

Cheating is haram. Both men and women cheat. HOWEVER, disrespect and sexual dissatisfaction incentivise cheating for both sexes. When a society makes adultery easy and divorce difficult, that society is doomed to dysfunctional families.

I wonder if sisters have this much insight in why men get second wives (halal) as they do why women cheat (haram)? When talking about women cheating they speak in such a way in which the man is acting in an inadequate way which makes her cheating a natural consequence. So can we do the visa versa? Can we speak about men who get second wives as if what they did is a natural consequence of the inadequacies of their wives? Either BOTH people seek another sexual partner because of failure to contain their desires, or everything we do is a consequence of what other people do. Allowing a space for a middle ground feels like we’re gonna starting making certain cheating situations “understandable” which is scary.

The women on the panel were simply justifying a woman's cheating on the man in someway as if it's somehow his fault and he could've acted differently thus she wouldn't have cheated. It really doesn't matter what the other partner does, if she/he is going to cheat, she/he is going to cheat.

I love how its always about the Man being the root cause of any issue within a relationship. ive noticed that on every platform and every lecture its always about how that Man needs to keep the woman happy (or engaged) and never (or rarely) about the Woman fullfilling her duties, therfore giving the Man the time and energy to provide that emotional (and physical) support . An interesting topic would be 'what does a husband need from his wife to have a succsessful relationship'
@ertugrulbae46

A valid point was made by the brother. Why cant women get those emotional needs from other women??? Like the example given by the woman. Women has issues at home. Tells her male colleague..and he is supportive to her. EVERYTHING done here can be done by a woman. But the feminists on the right are quick to shut him down saying "no no no..its not the same". SO CLEARLY shes seeking more than just "emotional needs".

@47:08 understanding women, is understanding that they can't be fully understood because of their hormones and emotions. The problem with this discussion is that it's always labelled as the man's fault when a woman cheats and only if the man that done this or that then the woman wouldn't have cheated. Unfortunately, people cheat for various reasons and it a reflection of them rather than they partner. If you cheat, it's your fault entirely whether you're a male or female.

I did not even watch the video. it appeared to me as a suggestion, but from the title and its picture alone, I became frustrated. I am not here to criticize anyone. God knows that all those people might be much better than me, but that is not what our religion looks like. when you have a channel classified as an Islamic channel specifically for (Dawah), you are supposed to be a role model for Muslims and present what true Islam is. as a Muslim nation we are going through the most difficult times, seeing what is happening to our brothers and sisters, whether in Palestine, Syria, Sudan, Kashmir, the Uyghurs, Yemen, and many others and we are just witching , not doing anything maybe waiting for a miracle . we must help each other to obey God in the way he wants from us. to be a real Muslims Perhaps God will guide us, unite us in His word, and help us to support our oppressed brothers and sisters, wherever they are .
