"WHY would you do it FOR FREE??"

I drove around for a while today, knocking on doors - with no answers - until I came across this home. I love doing free work for people like her because she seemed like a genuinely good person, and was very thankful. I wanted to get the tall grass mowed, and the overgrown edges cleaned up for her so it would be easier for her to maintain, since grass is growing like CRAZY here in the south this time of year. Also, A news reporter stopped by and told me he wanted to put me on the news for helping out the community!

Just watched another mower having the same problem with people not answering doors🤥 This was a bigger property than I originally thought it was! Love that you bag the large clippings....in the 60's before mulchers, that had to be done all the time. She should have no problem maintaining this now..just has to do it!

Leaving the trimmed grass isn’t always a bad thing. It can help with leveling or put nutrients back into the healthy grass already growing.

When you edge and then go down it with the trimmer, you should use the string to go back down the edging. It gives it a lot cleaner look. And then you wouldn't have to go picking at spots sticking out, either. Same thing with that stone pathway...a quick going down the sides with the string. 👍 and subbed.

Part of good gardening maintenance is removing weeds and removing grass cutting and not placing the chopped up clumps of debris overgrowth on driveway or pavement to toss and mulching on grass and destroying the grass instead you have to maintain grass roots and removing the mosses from grass roots to raking or scarify grass with tools to remove weeds and moss from cuttings left behind to rotting down and leaving the uneven grass areas to patchy grass and dirt from shovels of dirt tossed over grass. The perfect lawn mowing and removing all cutting and feeding the grass annually with liquid fertiliser that can be made from soaked compost in large buckets and drain water and pouring the compost away to save water solution for fertiliser for the grass. My late father used to grow vegetables and flowers to show in horticultural society shows he would win trophies and cups for his selections of fruit and vegetables and fresh flowers and gardening was his passion and neat flower beds nicely arranged for seasonal planting and manicured lawn edging using a edging spade to early 50 s and 60s in no modern garden equipment like tools today and manual labour and push mowers to every single evening after work and weekends spent in the garden. This was before television was rolled out to all the kids used to play outside and modern life in television and videos were viewed in the homes and television became addicted to watching just like the iPhones and tablets and computers today are endless toys designed today to trap people into becoming lazy kids and adults who have no time for maintenance or maintain their home or garden habits learned over time to falling standards of living in people who are more interested in leisure time and entertainment and holidays than making a foundation of stability and loving environment for everyone to enjoy life and the fast pace of life is the most disturbing thing about modern day living in neighbouring communities of people not interested in their families or neighbours or even know who their neighbours are in living behind closed doors and who don’t care about their environment is the real world today
