I think the problem with OTV Rust was the fact that it was so many different circles of people with different humors crossing, so while one person might find it funny to do what Zuckles did, the others have more fun having really deep slow roleplay. There's a reason there's different groups around content creators, and it's because that's your flavour. The OTV took a bit of everything and threw it at a wall, and ended up with more confict than resolution.

What did they expect? Anyone killed on the server rages and quits, even xqc the "pvp legend" he is quit the pvp version like, you're playing a shooty, scavenger game. You're gonna get killed, don't misinform people about rules and get mad when you die in a PvP server you joined. No one held you at gun point to play.

Zuckles literally begged to get on the pvp/rp server for a full week on twitter it states the rules when you join and at spawn on the server there was a rules board also literally winters got kicked off for kos people on the rp part of the map and rpers in the pvp part of the map as well zuckles got kicked for using information from chat to find out xqc wanted to raid him and then reinforcing his base, screaming that a dono he just got read that xqc was going to raid his base, repeatedly kosing xqc and the rest of team rocket when they were rping and repeatedly rdming x

I feel like the creation of this server and having all these big youtubers / streamers all playing is doing quite a bit of harm. I wouldn't exactly say i'm in touch with all Rust youtubers but from what i've seen I haven't noticed much drama between each Rust streamer / youtuber until now ( either that or I'm ignroant ). I don't see a reason to get someone banned from Rust because they killed you, even in a RP server where it's mainly for content. Like, xQc getting mad that he's getting killed whilst playing, too him it's not fun ( may or may not be the same for the viewers) but to Zuckles he can make a great clip / narative out of that. Meta Gaming / being too good is also a pussy ass reason to get banned if it happesn it happens don't fucking boot em from the server.

the thing is once they went back to public servers they were fine again. i havent seen any drama come out of it. team rocket rolled a public server for a entire day with gta rp guy buddha and apex streamer mendo getting tons of kills and popping off. same with ray c and his otv friends. calvin and dafran also popped off in publics. when there not killing each other streamer rust has zero drama.
