Most of all Kishibe will be too busy filling the void that makima left in the association and he’ll have to train and replace many devil hunters they lost because of her.🐱

Thay'd be a good reason for him to skip town; besides, the last thing Kishibe told Denji before leaving was that he was "about to get busy." Whatever he's up to, let's just hope he comes back before the Death Devil does.

Yoshida feels a bit more like Makima in that he seems to be scheming to some extent whilst trying to keep Denji, Asa and maybe even Fami in check, but I do think Kishibe will re-enter the story at some point since we have both Yoru and Fami in play here.

Well part 2 is set in a school setting, which is why I think it is more convenient for Yoshida to be present because he is the only public safety devil hunter so far that is close in age as denji or at least in high school. I personally think that he replaced Aki and not Kishibe, just like Asa (or Yoru) kinda replacing Power.

i for one would love to see kishibe pretending to be a high schooler by wearing a propeler hat and constantly holding a comicaly large lollipop in order to keep an eye on denji

Kishibe and Kobeni quit the whole devil hunting business. They are now managers at a Waffle House. They will return to the safety of devil hunting in part 3.

I think Kishibe was the one who hired Yoshida to keep an eye on Denji. Kishibe is the only one who knows that Denji takes care of the Control Devil, and he has a high position in Public Safety. Yoshida has contact with Public Safety, we intuit it from the conversation between him and Kiga (Fami).

Yoshida's more of a monitor rather than a mentor tbh The guy's always been a mercenary since part 1. Heck, if the price was right, I think he would have happily been one of the assassins to get Denji's heart in the IA arc lol. Can't wait for more about what's going on rn lol

i see yoshida as more like a brother figure to denji. the looking out aspect at least. he seems to always be there lurking so denji doesn’t reveal chainsaw man’s identity

Good video. I especially liked the old man Ouji edit. It is interesting that the public devil hunters aren’t around when a huge event is going to happen. Maybe because Denji and Yoshida are around. Yoshida not naming the group he’s with and his lack of action in many parts of the story have me intrigued. When Asa was facing off against her friend at school, Yoshida didn’t step in till Denji was about to do something stupid. Basically meaning he let a bunch of people die. So I wonder what his actual objective is here. I feel like the other devil hunters will be back at some point

Well, we do know that Kishibe is a human, but with Yoshida I have my doubts, his eyes don't tell much, they are completely black unlike any other character, and it makes me wonder, what if he is using contacts to hide the iris of his eyes? I don't think he's evil, at least there's little evidence for that theory, but he is likely a box of surprises.

i was a bit skeptical about asa becoming the main focus going into it i just thought oh school arc where denji is a side character asa and yuko enjoying their lives as students . couldn't be more wrong should of known because it's chainsaw man but asa's character was similar to Denji's but as a girl . her character is problematic just like denji's which leads and creates many problems down the line . creates a lot of interesting plot points though and she is an enjoyable character definitely.
