I think the main issue with UI is they made him to true to how he is in the show. Had they made him a bit more... I guess defensive with more emphasis on counters with bad lag times after failing to do a counter maybe he would've been better. Like how in smash characters with counters can wreck shop... But if they wiff they whiff hard and can get hecka punished if people bait the whiffed counter.

He's nerfed now for those who didn't know UI tech has more startup and more recovery 22S and the assist variant are only anti-airs (might need to check the former though) Ex flip got nerfed too. The fun part is that he's actually less broken than UI is still. That instant kill has 30 frames of startup as compared to his normal level 3 at 13. Unlike UI, his neutral is complete ass, and while this is DBFZ and neutral is beam assist, his neutral is *way* worse than UI. UI has like 3 or 4 'skip neutral' buttons, Gogeta has 0. He's a mixup powerhouse, but he doesn't have anything else.

There is an easier way to set up the goku ui tech in training mode. If you go to character settings there is an option to make ui goku to always do his reversal thing after a knock down.

At this point I play the characters that I find the coolest or most fun to play that's why i started out with hit, goku black, and goku blue the day of release but once ui goku came out and I got back into the game I became a ui, gogeta blue, and goku black player and I'm happy with that I have fun with the characters I use and learn and adapt to other playstyles to become a good player. So that's why I hate when people lump in the good ui players with the bad because it makes everyone look worse

It's because there's no good SoE players and "the fun" you calling is just you winning matches and losing them not so many times for you to stop having fun, and that's firstly because of the characters you've selected (Hit Black and Blue was obnoxious season 1 and they still are - and SoE with Gogeta Blue since SoE release is a win-win no matter who the third character is, and Goku Black is anti-scrub weapon that have too much for any play that is not the professional one), that's all.
