On your side, is it okay on your shoulder if you aren’t sleeping completely horizontal? Sometimes I wake up rolled halfway onto my stomach or back while sleeping on my side. To add to the conversation, an old video made me realize that my bed was simply too hard, and that was causing my shoulder pain. I’m very petite/thin, so my semi-firm mattress was really uncomfortable. I switched to a softer mattress that responded well to my weight and let me sink into it a little while being supportive, and that made all the difference. Thanks for all your help Bob and Brad!

2 herniated cervicals create a lot of nerve issues. I have yet to find a firm enough neck pillow of the right diameter.
@razor72412 жыл бұрын
Try a tempurpedic pillow. Pretty firm so your head doesn’t sink during the night like a down or foam filled pillow. Also the Temperpedic pillow is fairly thick which might get your head at a better level. FYI: must have tried 2-4 dozen pillows in my life!
@thinkingimpaired56632 жыл бұрын
@Razor 72 thank you for the suggestion. I'll visit a tempurpedic retailer nearby. Have a nice weekend.
@razor72412 жыл бұрын
@@thinkingimpaired5663 your welcome. Hope the temperdic pillow turns out to be the “one”! It may not, but it is different than just about any other pillow I’ve tried. FYI: I also was diagnosed with two herniated disks I’m my neck this year
@thinkingimpaired56632 жыл бұрын
@Razor 72 truly amazing how 2 discs control one's life. My 3rd herniation is at L5S1. Some days, I have to roll sideways out of bed just to stand up. I hope you're able to successfully manage your herniated discs. I do wear a neck pillow every night, I wish I could just design a pillow durable enough to last many years.
@razor72412 жыл бұрын
@@thinkingimpaired5663 So far I have been very lucky with my herniated disks. After an MRI and physical therapy I had an epidural in my neck which so far (about 6-7 months) have completely relieved all my symptoms. However, have been suffering from a very stiff neck on the other side for a couple weeks now that isn’t related to my herniated disks. Man, getting old is not fun! Good luck to you. Hope the pillow suggestion works out.

Your videos are very good but you'll talk too much.. Make it short, get to the point, sometimes it is understandable but many times it gets very irritating to watch your videos. No offense, just a feedback. Also one suggestion, people are watching your videos are in pain, so avoid those unnecessary jokes which waste plenty of time, directly come on the point.
