In 2012 my father suddenly passed and I dedicated the season to him. By late of 2013 I had no start up season money and I was burnt out, I knew I was burnt out because I didn't care anymore. Call it depression or whatever but I sold my business in pieces like a fool to someone who paid me off by the month. So he paid me 2400 a month so I can pay 850 of that towards a loan while he profits more than the 2400 and I still have a loan to pay. It's like giving someone a free loan. The season was creeping up and I needed a fire sale. Stupid. Regret. I'm looking at 2019 much more maturer. I haven't been in business in 6 years. I'm leaning toward Lawn and shrub care only to limit my labor and narrow down a niche. I'm scared i'm gonna fail. Having said all that, one thing that would have saved me at the time would have been excepting credit cards since the 30k that was on the street would have been in my pocket or Bank. Not getting paid or billing every 30'days and getting paid on the 45 day is ass backwards. You borrow from other sources and the money doesn't hold its original value when you billed. That's why I had no early spring money. It was a let down and I felt like I failed. I remember your channel and videos. I thought I knew it all paid little attention. This is the only field i'm really good at. The wife wants no part of it. Getting my energy up little by little.

Grateful for the info you provide, I have a question for you how do you deal with the type of customer that present themselves really nice and end up to be rude and think they have a power over you because they pay you? Thanks in advance you rock.

You are a dude I aspire to be like. BOLD Screw the "how"... "What" are the reasons that made you become the man you've become? "Why" did you see it so early on? Do you literally drive head-on into all of your fears? Everything you said in this one little video. Thank you my friend.

I noticed that most areas (except mine) are able to not bag grass. Is there a way to get around that with customers? I’m trying to find the most efficient way to get my guys on yards...bagging is expected from most people in my area (New England) not sure why. We use trailers and dump trucks because in fall and spring we have to clean yards of leaves and debris.
