With COVID-19 home exercise I joined the masses wanting to work out at home and purchased the most popular piece of equipment for home workouts, the treadmill. I was an early adopter of the Bowflex Treadmill T10. Good review overall. However regarding your comment about always having to log in each and every time, yes you have to do that if you select "Log Out" the the end of your session. I have the Bowflex 22 and my wife and I each have our profiles logged in and just switch back and for between them as needed. There is no need to log out and back in, we just tab the top left of the screen and select switch user. So is actually not an issue for us. And you can have more than just 2 users so good for families.

When I turn on the T 10 it loads the Android programming so in a few seconds two icons appear on the screen. One for manual operation and the other to join JRNY. I select manual then 4 scenic running route icons appear on the screen. After selecting a running route I set the speed and begin walking. The incline is already set to 6 so there is no need to make any adjustments. Very simple easy to use treadmill that is extremely quiet and very well made.

Wow! Amazing video! Quality review! I think we all been hit with the fine print once are twice in our lives! $600 dollars to return something isn't peanuts. Glad to hear Bowflex tried to do right and things to go bad to worse. Appreciate the video and info!

Your review inspired me to call back and add on the assembly! It's now $350 but still worth it in my eyes. Also, when I called customer service and she went over the return policy, I think they changed it. Because she said if I want to return ot within the 6 weeks, I will get refunded the full unit price, shipping fees, and assembly! So that's good. I have the max trainer through Bowflex, so I already have the jrny app and will just be able to add the treadmill onto my account. Im only 30 and i absolutely love the app. I actually prefer the pre-recorded classes and love some of their trainers! I would desperately dislike live classes. Just not my thing. But I'm definitely buying it for the specs. Wanted a heavy-duty treadmill that could get up to 15% incline since I'll mainly be doing inclined walking. But it's good to know that my husband will be able to do sprints! The screen quality and speaker sound aren't my particular concerns. But your review was so thorough and very helpful! Thank you!

You might want to google for recalls or safety concerns. You can go out to each of the organizations that are selling your potential new treadmill and check out the reviews. And probably the most effective thing you can do is go to third party retailers who are selling the units and ask them what they are seeing or query Consumer Reports.

When you're using the console and watching a third-party service like Netflix, Hulu or whatever, are they displayed in 720 also or 1080? Just to be sure, if those streaming services are displayed in 720 this machine does not have any setting options that can be changed allowing for higher resolution?

@@melissaa5016 I just tried Netflix and it is in 1080p. You don't have to install anything. You just have to login to your subscription. I have really good internet service and it was a little slow going in and out of Netflix. So, don't think it's not working or locked up.

Great review. My wife bought me a T10. Same experience as you. Stopped working after a few weeks, hour wait on the phone with tech support, wrong part sent, 3 months late, tey sent me a new console, repaired it myself and it worked fine after the console was replaced. However, 9 months later, it broke again, same issue again, call tech support, hour wait .. yada yada yada. I told my wife we are tossing this POS and taking the loss. The worst part of all of it is that it works really well for a short period of time while you are trying to build a healthy habit only to have your momentum destroyed..

Sorry to read about your situation. The software and electronics are the problem. The mechanics are great. I had thought they would have refocused their software group by now and started cleaning up the software and electronics, but that hasn't happened. By not retooling their software engineering department, they are doing a huge disservice to the company because the future in this home market will be the software and the A.I.

How do you like your new treadmill? Answer...its the best hi fi system I ever purchased. The fitness industry is tricking us into focusing on features that cost them very little and not focus on what counts which is the actual build. It is like teenagers buying their first car and the first thing they do after starting it up is turn on the radio before even driving... You missed out on a fantastic unit.

You only have a year warranty on the "electronic" parts. Make sure to get that logged with Bowflex as soon as possible. With mine, they just sent out a new video console.

This treadmill is crap. Cuts off in the middle of workout, screen won't come on now so can't even use it. Calibration doesn't work. AND, calling customer service doesn't work cuz the hold times are ridiculous!!! I have set on hold for hours multiple times and still have not talked to anyone!! $1500 down the drain. I should of got a Nordictrack....

Its a piece of junk I bought it back in April and it has been broken since 2 week in. Bowflex has replaced a least 5 items and now they sent a new motor I am beyound mad!!!!!!

OMG, I had thought they had overcome the hard fails. In part 2 of my review, it took seven months. Stay on top of it because you are in the same boat I was in. We are coming into some hard supply chain issues in November that could make it difficult to get parts. I was really worried that I was going to hit the 1 year warranty on electrical...which was my problem with it.
