I've Gott a 1975 Northwestern 56 Degree TNT Sand Wedge i been using for 30 years, once you find a sand wedge you like its hard to get a Divorce.

I agree. I've tried various wedges that promise the moon over the years, but I keep going back to my old ones. So far, I've never found anything that I play better with.

I think he has it backwards. High lofted surely means HIGH LOFT, meaning 70 degrees is high loft and 10 degrees is low loft.

You’re using the 70 degree wedge so wrong it’s insane. You absolutely take big swings because the loft is your friend. The point is it pitch it high so it can land softly.
