Why should you take time to be a hermit? In this video I talk about some benefits to living a hermit lifestyle and why it's ok to be a hermit sometimes. Most people don't realize how much GOOD you get from being a hermit. Everyone needs time to re-charge, re-energize and re-lax ;] Whether you're an introvert or an extrovert, there is so much reason and benefits to having time alone and doing your own thing.
This video is for all my happy hermits out there!

Yes I'm agree with what you just said here about being a hermit . Want to add 1 more on those 3 . - Staying out of trouble . Here in Turkey we have an old saying . They say ; The more people == more trouble . Do i say ; 1 person = 1 problem 2 persons = 2 problems No people at all = paradise .

I like to read philosophy, tend the garden, and wander the woods during my hermit times.

I love being a hermit for a lot of the time. It can done, amongst people, via interacting lightly with them , while not letting any situation overwhelm . It doesn't have to be a cabin in the woods or locked up in a room.

I think I would make an excellent hermit. More so if I lived off in the woods and not in the city (I would go outside more if I lived out in the woods). I do not live in a very safe city so I tend to just not leave my apartment much. I like it so much better inside my apartment!

Hi, actual non-socially awkward hermit who is largely one by choice: I have no kids, and couldn't be happier, and spend most of my time absorbing media of sone kind, be it gaming, reading or watching. Anyone curious? Can answer questions, lol.

I'm in my 60s, now. I'm mostly a 'hermit'. My friends have moved on. Some have died ! I love my own company. I don't get lonely ! I have a big dog & a few old cats. I work part-time, a few days a week. On my days off, I go out food shopping, then I stay home, on my other days off ! I work on my yacht restoration, on my days off work. I'm looking forward to retirement, in a few months. I'll become a 'total hermit', then. I'll live on my yacht, with my big dog & cats. 😊😸😸🐶❤️⛵🏝️.

This makes so much sense to me! I honestly don’t like being around people. I either get extremely irritated, drained or my anxiety shoots through the roof. I’m definitely going to make every effort to shop online, read more, be creative (I’ve missed this so much) and just to have a lot of silence 🤫

Hermitism has to do with the egocentric societies, the ego illusions and feeling the need to surrender to your rich inner journey. U can do this at home, in the mountains ... it has nothing to do with the need to be alone or have a time out. True hermits have a different world in them which they would like to manifest. These videos are damaging... stick to your domain. U are a hermit or not.
