update: i still rawdog my iPhone but I do have a screen protector and ive dropped it a couple times on concrete! only damage ive gotten so far is some minor dings on the titanium but other than that… all good if you don’t want to keep your iPhone caseless I can’t force you to, at the end of the day it’s your decision to do what you want with your phone 😍

I’m the opposite, haven’t used a screen protector for years. Galaxy s8 only a couple minor scratches but looks better than any screen protector I’ve seen. Pixel 6 pro and iPhone 15 pro max not a single scratch. I want to go no case but I like to have my work ID under it do I can swipe my phone

I’ve been with out a case ever since my 14 pro came out. I only ever put it in a case when I go for a bike ride or on my scooter. I spent $1000 dollar on my iPhone and I’m a huge fan of the surgical grade stainless steel. The stainless steel is so lovely. I Donny care for covering it up with plastic. If an accident happens than it happens and I pay my insurance deductible of $30 for the screen to be repaired.

People who put protection on their phone are generally more reckless. People who wear helmets while they bike are also generally more reckless. People are generally more reckless with their own devices than a friend’s. Many people will never put anything more than scratch protection on something like a laptop. They don’t buy bulky drop protection cases because they already believe that being careful will be good enough without drop protection. Not everyone might be able to transition to a less reckless mindset, but those who do are confident that they won’t drop it. They just treat their phones like devices that generally don’t use protection anyway. I have tried transitioning between case and case less for over a year and have only dropped it with the case on. No I’m not rich and I’m still surviving on my 12 I upgraded “recently” from a 6 plus. You don’t need to be rich to go case-less. You just need to change your mindset if you are willing to.

Apple Store employee told me the majority of iPhones repaired were broken while being carried in a case. I just do the iPhone upgrade program through Apple and it comes with AppleCare included. $29 for glass replacement or $99 for express overnight replacement device.

As an owner of the iPhone 14 Pro Max I used to be like you have to use a case or you gotta have a case but now I'm realizing as l've studied or started during over iPhone or Apple that the iPhone was crafted for you to use without a case like it's all about the feel of your phone. but I would also have to recommend AppleCare+ it might be expensive but it will save you from having to see that price tag when you actually need to repair something if you do drop it. I haven't dropped my phone yet I hope I never will. I guess using a phone with a case was like training wheels.

i have the 15 Pro now, and coming from my experience, its actually more durable than before. i use no case but i do have a screen protector, and ive dropped it plenty of times (moreso recently actually) and the only damage it’s had so far are minor dings on the titanium frame, which were more prominent on the stainless steel in my previous phone but still.. one wrong drop and it could all go wrong! just be careful with ur phone and you’ll be fine

Everyone doesn't need to go caseless so that people can see it's beautiful craftsmanship while sacrificing it's protection. I’ve been using iPhones since the iPhone 6s I have never cracked a single one and constantly dropped my phones. I use OtterBox and tempered glass screen protectors. Sure it makes the phone “bulky and ugly” but I’d rather have that than a shattered phone and have to go through the hassle of getting it repaired

Apple does it on purpose for 2 reasons. 1 - you but the 80 dollars case. 2 - if you scratch you will want to upgrade to the new model. Why do you think they got rid of the stainless steel iPhone.
