Fear of judgment is a big one. Honestly. This is what holds me back the most. Great interview!

Thank you for sharing Karen's powerful message! In becoming a confident woman, I have faith that Holy Spirit can guide me and strengthen my voice as I heal from soul wounds such as fear and shame. 'Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus' Romans 8:1-2 is very positive self-talk for me.

Wow! I just had an experience where I had to trust my judgement over the judgement of others. This was very insightful 🙏🏿

I had to disengage from my own mother because she demanded I tell her what she wanted to hear instead of me expressing my authentic self. She feels insulted. I feel liberated. I don't regret fully asserting myself after all these years. I no longer place her priorities above my own. Finally.

That takes a lot of pressure off of us as humans because it’s natural to not always feel confident. We just have to change the narrative. 👌

I have to disagree with confidence not being a feeling. It is indeed a feeling and with it comes certain behaviors that exude confidence. You have to feel confident in order to truly project confident behavior. You can “choose” to be confident all you want but if you don’t truly feel that way, it’s not going to translate. It’s like choosing to smile which is usually a behavior of happy ppl when the smile is genuine. But a smile with sadness or other conflicting emotion behind it can and will be detectable through other behaviors
