My very worst body odor experience was a long time ago when I was about eighteen and a college student. My class schedule kept me on campus for long periods of time and often with lengthy breaks of several hours between classes. During those breaks between classes, I might have lunch or a snack. Since I didn't live on campus or nearby to it at the time and didn't bring a toothbrush to school, I developed the habit of having a mint (or two or so) or a stick of gum after eating. I'll never forget that one day I had no mints or gum but knew I had "powerful" breath. So I was careful not to get right into anyone's face. It just so happened on that day the graduate student teaching the Chemistry lab I was in came up to me in a friendly, flirtatious way, hugged me, looked me directly in the face, said something to me, and then remained with me in that position awaiting my verbal response. If I turned my face away, she'd have thought I was insulting her. If I answered facing her, my "powerful" breath might make her faint.☺ In retrospect, I wish I would have just freed one of my arms, covered my mouth with my hand, and said something, in a joking way, like "you don't want to smell my spicy meal breath right now." Unfortunately, I wasn't so poised at that time. So I answered her and let her have it, and her facial expression 🤤 said it all.☺ That's my story.

I can relate. Whenever I don't have mints or gum after lunch for the last one or two periods I'm coving my mouth. I hate to have bad breathe. I always have mints with me now. Buy one packet or mentos and they should last me two weeks

Being a germaphobe and cant deal with smells, I am always telling friends and family if they smell. Rather it be me then some strangers thinking bad thoughts!

I wish I had the social poise or whatever to be able to let my friends know that there's a lil stinky stink. I'm very very conscious about my breath. If it starts to get a lil funky, Im on mint gums instantly. I don't necessarily have BO but I do sweat in my pits quite a bit (makes no difference if I shave or not) and ofc with time, shit happens)

I always get on my family & co-workers because they NEVER tell me! I’ll eat lunch with them, go back to office and get ready to speak with a client, all to find out afterwards that my lunch is still in my teeth and my hair is out of place....Each time I go back to the office and “yell” (in a decent way) for not telling me-I always tell them bc I’d hate for them to be in the same situation. So, when people say “I’ve got your back”, it starts with that! lol

I keep dryer sheets in my purse to cover my mouth and nose with on the train. Learned this from a pregnant lady never looked back.

@Sweet Heart It's to prevent her from smelling the bad odor in the trains. I'm guessing she's from NYC. NYC has the worst smelling train system because most of our homeless people live there. Sometimes, there is a mentally ill homeless person and they don't shower. They poop and pee their pants. I guess they probably didn't shower for months or even years. The smell will then build up over time. It's the worst smell ever. Sometimes it's so bad it burns my nose like smelling ammonia.

I think I've heard you say in a video that you're vegetarian or vegan. It might be interesting, to at least some of your subscribers, to hear what led you to that diet, what you believe are the benefits of such a diet, and how you maintain this diet in Nigeria.

EfikZara I’d recommend a low carb keto or paleo diet if you’re interested. Veganism causes premature aging, among other problems.

Muslims are supposed to wash their private parts after toileting. I opt to use baby wipes which is particularly useful during visits from Aunt Flow. During my University studies in Africa I managed to stay fresh between morning & evening showers by freshening up sweaty body parts with baby wipes & reapplying deoderant & powder.

I live in Northern California and I met a woman child from Nigeria in elementary school and she had BO! Another student spoke with her about it and she did address it! This was the 4th or 5th grade!? It was difficult for her because we were so young and we talked $&%*! But I appreciate that we figured out how to be respectful and compassionate about it! I really appreciate this discussion!!

Hey! Can you try the Avacado Hair Mask as a video? Ingredients -1 ripe avacado -2 eggs -desired oils such as olive and or coconut (I'd add both tho) -people put honey but that slows down hair growth so its up to to you And I think that's it!

True about the processed and sugary foods, my dad will literally go for long jog and his shirt still smells fresh, he barely ever uses deodorant. And his poop smells like roses😂

Growing up, I always had hygiene problems. During puberty, it was the worst!! I literally discovered deodorant by other people in highschool telling me I smelled like onions all the time. I always stunk, and couldn't get my BO and cleanliness under control and always received comments about some part of my body being unclean (smelly feet, waxy ears, dandruff hair, bad breath...) yo ppl were so honest lmao. At now 22 y/o, needless to say I cleaned up my act and became slightly paranoid to make sure I'm never stinky. I'm always EXTREMELY aware of how I smell and often ask ppl around me when unsure. I feel pretty confident about everything EXCEPT my hair, scalp more precisely. It starts smelling musty and gets flaky like 5 days after washing it and I don't get why?? I bought special dandruff shampoo, and it didn't help. Bought good smelling creams (shea moisture smoothie, softee pink grease) and the musty smell still comes trough... I can always smell it and I'm sure other ppl can too!! HELP!

@@alexiaetcetera Wow then I'm a bit surprised you would have those issues. Do you drink a lot of water? And have you considered doing an internal cleanse? Also consider trying bentonite clay on your scalp in particular to draw out toxins.

Hi can u suggest a good antiperspirant for someone who sweats a lot,I also start to sweat a lot when I encounter large groups of people,I tried a variety of different products but none have given me the perfect results I desire... I live in the Caribbean and it's very hot as a female people tend to judge u more when it comes to body odor nd may consider u nasty or you're not bathing properly but for me that's not the case I bathe/shower quite well it's just I can't control my sweating!

Do detergents that have baking soda in them already have the same effect as plain baking soda to eliminate odors?
@EfikZara4 жыл бұрын
I believe so. I prefer to use detergents like that in fact. The washer also plays a huge part though, no matter what detergent you use. Some washers are effective period, whilst others won’t cleanse close even if you use the best detergent.
@eliza90114 жыл бұрын
You csn use apple cider vinsger as a fabric softener in your washer takes the soap scum off your clothes from detergent sweat and oils believe me I use cloth diapers and it takes the smell out of those bad boys and is safe for skin and your washer ;) hope that helps
