I honestly became a fan of 1D after they disbanded, through a wattpad ff. And even tho he never "seemed" to get along with this band members I honestly feel so bad for him bc mainly the company artists are at force them to have a certain image in front of the fans and don't allow them to be themselves. Even tho I'm said that 1D disbanded I'm just happy they're free from all that stess of being a bart of a boy band since such a young age. I love watching your vids you always make them so interesting! Tbh they teach me more than school does. And congo for getting your first merch out!!

I love this video. Thanks for spreading awareness of these artists that are attached to a label. I’m not a fan of his music personally, yet I respect him for having the courage for becoming the man he wanted to be for his family. Most pop artists are slaves to their label and many kids see these labels as magic in their eyes. Until you see underneath the surface that many of these people are abused slaves of their conglomerate overlords. Please spread awareness to someone who might be influenced easily by fame not to fall into the trap like zhan did.

No matter how much of a big fan I'm of them, but disbanding was necessary, and I really am hope that all of them (5/5) are in a good position and to always be in. I'm may not a 1D fan, but I can see how hard it is to be in a band with members who have different musical tastes and personalities. It's even worse if they are minors or young adults are trying to find themselves and their identity. It's gets hard to cooperate and work together. I'm glad they disbanded. Being in 1D would have earned them money and fame, but they'd never be truly happy. I respect Zayn for Being strong enough to leave early. It must have taken him a lot of courage to risk losing thousands of fans and getting misunderstood. Hoping he'll get through all his sufferings. Love your videos Agon. Zayn is one of the few artists who loves music more than fame or money, that's the first reason he left the band. If as an artist, Zayn doesn't get to make his own kind of music, why would he want to suffer with the band? I remember he worked really hard for their 4th album, but all of the songs he created was rejected by the management. He was such a cheerful and happy boy, but later his whole personality changed, like he was dead inside. That was it for him, along with the pressure and exhaustion of constant touring, racism and eating disorder. He was really brave for going against such a huge fandom.

If Zayn were a white man like Harry styles...one he'd never have to have gone through such suffering...two he would be protected and nurtured and taken care of like Harry was/is...three he would be acknowledged and respected abd empathised with for attempting to stick it with the band...four he would get an apology for the terrible treatment he underwent and lack of care that was shown to him. JC from Nsync, who is a white man, was considered the best singer in the Nsync. But he faced similar situation as Zayn. He wasn't given enough oppurtunity as Justin Timberlake because he didn't want to play the fame-game. Zayn is also like that, his management didn't give him enough oppurtunity mainly because he didn't care about fame-game, wanted to focus completely on his type of music. They couldn't manipulate him, so didn't promote him enough, both in 1D and as a soloist. But Harry was ready to do whatever it takes to become successful soloist. That's why they were able to manipulate Harry more than Zayn.

Was very sad and disappointed when he left, but as I got older I’m realising why he did what he did. He had to endure being shit on by the public, stalked by the paparazzi who were nothing but rude and treated him and the boys as objects (I hate paparazzi in general I think they’re scum and there should be laws), and being overworked to the point of near death by their management. Zayn was clearly one of those shyer teenagers growing up and although he seemed to have a cheeky side, and obviously bundles of talent, imagine growing up and spending your teenage to early adulthood years constantly under that kind of treatment. It’d drive anyone insane, and all the boys have spoken up against it to some degree at some point since going solo. Zayn may have made some not so ideal choices but you definitely can’t fault the guy entirely.

Well, now that Zayn has been able to sort out his life, and his own thoughts to move on and do greater things, he has also proceeded to thank the rest of the 1D boys in his acceptance speech for his award. The 9 years have given him time enough to think and re-think life and as a Directioner who has gone through similar things like eating disorders and anxieties due to pressure and spotlight, I am glad that one of our boys was able to take the path he wanted, and that he earned happiness along the way. I always keep a little bit of hope in my heart, that one day we might get 1D back, and if possible, Zayn Malik sitting in the same frame with a smile on his face, a genuine one, and enjoying with the 1D boys, but of course, we would not think of compromising someone's happiness for out entertainment. Cheers to Zayn, his life, his dreams, his family, his goals, his success, I hope he lives a happy, content life.

Zayn did what was good for him nd his health. I think he took the best decision ever. Because risking your own life for the so called fame isn't healthy. But I've only one complain for all the band members. They shouldn't had any bad terms with Zayn after Zayn left the band. It was zayn's duty to tell his band mates that he's suffering. Nd other band mates also tried to maintain a good friendship with Zayn. I mean it's the fault of all the members that they're not friends anymore. Disbanding never hurt me, what hurt me about them was having bad relationship with with each other. If you know the unreliability in the storytelling of talent shows you'd know everyone else's "fav boy band" was going off a script and were probably forced to remain silent about the whole thing. Also why Zayn despite all the bad attention is still hesitant to expose them. Only going off the surface on the dark unseen side of his career. The dissolution of 1D was probably the best thing to happen to all 5 of them. To me Zayn is the only talented of the bunch. Harry's music is just hideous. But to each their own I guess, I'm glad they aren't at each others neck now and have probably agreed at a mutual resolve. Still must hate each other after the industry tried to supress their creative differences. Don't sell your talents to companies kids.

I don't think Harry's music is 'hideous' just hyped up and promoted to ubiquititation and earworm inner mind placements. There are artists out there like Hozier and Stromae who are just as good if not better much much better. And music magazines and mainstream media comparing Harry a white man to black musicians is the worst 😒 The industry builds artists. Harry is a safe bet to puppeteer, follow orders from elite, ceos, executives, management...plus he is a money making machine to all these people who treat him like a cash cow...like they did in 1D days. The industry also blacklists and creates villans...Zayn unfortunately will never be truly liked/ accepted or welcomed by the music/ entertainment industry because he is too unpredictable, not easily puppeteered, will disobey and therefore hurt the money that people who own him can make. He walked away from 1D. From fame and millions of dollars 💸 it's hard to buy and therefore control people like that. Now, with a daughter to be responsible for, they could use that to control him, but hopefully, he can navigate without giving his dignity and sovereignty away.
