Angelina Jordan is now 18 years old. A year ago she sang in Paris at the ceremony - FIFA Football Awards 2022. This song composed by RedOne is attempting to be an anthem for FIFA, the worldwide organization representing the largest and most popular sport in the worlds. A barefoot princess with a hypnotic voice did it brilliantly. There are sections in this track that intentionally imitate the sounds of a stadium. Nadir Khayat (born April 9, 1972 in Tétouan, Morocco), better known by his stage name RedOne, is a Swedish record producer and songwriter of Moroccan descent. Two-time winner of the Swedish phonographic industry Grammis award.

Maria, thanks for your reaction. As best I know, Redone had been producing music for FIFA for a few years and became a huge fan of Angelina, so he invited her to sing this song with him at the FIFA Awards Ceremony. Angelina has been added to the promotion team for the 2026 World Cup. We learned Angelina is a huge football (soccer) fan and she recently let us know on Instagram, that Messi will be at her concert at the Westgate Resort and Casino, in Las Vegas, on February 29th. Angelina sounds even better live. I will be there in Vegas.

I hadn't realized what a soccer fan Angelina is until this performance. I understand she is contracted to promote the 2026 World cup. So we shall likely be seeing more performances with FIFA. Copyright issues. French broadcast and it actually sounded better on this video. Live broadcast exposed some production problems concerning the chorus which was piped in too loudly. BUT, Angelina was magnificent and RedOne (a big time producer, singer, guitarist who wrote this melody for the event) and her sailed through it beautifully in spite of the out of sync background music. Btw, estimated global viewing audience: 300M !!!!!!!!!!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 300 million audience estimate is for a World Cup Soccer final or other important match as opposed to this FIFA awards show.

Actual video was available of the entire event. You have scan abt an hour and a half into it. Few reactors did this. It may have been a copyright violation. Likely FIFI was not willing to give permission to use just that portion of the video and, given the screwed up audio track, they were embarrassed.

Hope you find the actual performance that's near the end of the taped FIFA event There's a really cool moment where Redone stands by the stairs so she could place her hand on his shoulder while she descends the stairs in a very tight dress! I did watch the FIFA show (only because I knew Angelina was one of the performers that night). No doubt, Angelina did the best she could here, but it is not my favourit song. O yes: Angelina performed it very well, no doubt about that: Angelina is one of the very best live-performers. The melody is nice to the ears, and perfect to get the attention from many people (which is a very good idea). But this is just not Angelina's stile/genre. You can see it so clearly on the orginal footage: Redone is jumping all over the place and Angelina is not doing that for even one second. She simply is not a popsinger and I have the feeling she will never be one. She has too much jazz and soul "in her DNA" and I think she is trying to develop her very own genre now.
