I like that you packed a lot of info in a short video; I plan to go back and study it in depth, but at least I know where to go to improve my workflow

This particular issue of logic not saving the sends when we save the patch had me spend so much time experimenting every which way. Thank you for clarifying this issue. Hopefully Apple will fix this is a Future release.

Thanks for the great tutorial. My comment is about locating settings and patches on your mac. When you are in the finder, you do not need to go to the GO MENU and LIBRARY. All you need to do is go to the MUSIC folder on the sidebar, AUDIO MUSIC APPS and PLUG IN SETTINGS. If you do not see MUSIC on your sidebar, Hit CMD-comma while in the Finder and select MUSIC and it will now be there all the time.

hey, great content as always. Trying to understand all of this and organization is very important to me. Wondering if there is a downside to saving everything as user patches? Just since user patches include everything and we can do patch merging. Also to keep everything saved in one place.

Great video. Can you explain why my user patches lose their track names and become (unknown) when I reload my project?

Hi Chris, is there a way to save all that to iCloud automatically? I mean, can I move the entire AUDIO MUSIC APPS folder to iCloud? thank you very much for your videos!

How would I save my (user) Quick Sample/Sampler Instruments to External hd to save space on my mac book pro?
@mikeorozco9220 Жыл бұрын
You can save your Instrument presets to an external drive. The problem is that whenever you go to LOAD or SAVE an instrument setting or channel strip, the window always starts at the MUSIC/MUSIC AUDIO APP/PLUG-IN location. Logic is smart enough to look in the correct instrument folder whenever you want to load or save(as) a preset. The best way to save file space is to move your LOGIC X project folder to an external drive.

Logic Pro is the Photoshop of music production. Even the experts know only 20% of the features. Noobs like myself know maybe 5% and are overwhelmed. My head hurts. But thanks 😁

good content no doubt. But to sink in i think it would be better to talk slowly.. and breathe a little between points. Its trend now to just speak fast with no breaks at all... at the cost of forgetting later lots of things. 😊

Should save also the Midi with it!!! these Logic guys seem to sleep!!!
