@@TheCvac the amount of throttle you have to give all depends on the power to weight, gearing of the bike, and how good you are at catching it with the rear brake. There's no definitive amount of throttle you can prescribe someone as every bike is different along with everyone's skill level. Best advice is start small and work your way up till the front end starts coming up closer to balance point.

@@akmalrusydi2730 It's absolutely possible to wheelie an R3. My stunt bike is a DR650, my commuter is a BMW310GS which makes less power and is heavier than an R3 and that thing wheelies for days. First and second gear with some preloading the suspension and an easy clutch up. Rule of thumb is: if it has a clutch, you can wheelie it lol. Just takes a little more effort to get the wheel to BP. You might think you're overdoing the revs but you're probably not. The plus side is the lower power bikes tend to be easier and more forgiving at BP than big bikes. Just start small and work your way up with how much revs you give it when clutching it. Get used to the feeling of the bike hooking and squeeze with your knees to keep your body from going off the back of the bike till you're used to it.

@@closedcasketcustoms bro i live in Malaysia where most people use underbone that are below 150cc and are clutcless bikes. one night i was arranging 37 of these local made bike (its modenas kriss 110) and yes its a 109cc bikes and this one guy helped me out and i told him there is no way he could wheelie, he then proceeded to jump the bike and shift his weight forward while revving it all the way up in 2nd gear i think for a good 2.5 seconds it shocked, awed and had me worried a bit there. planning to get an R3 here converted from a stock R25 can't wait, and thanks for the advice!

I rode dirt bikes pretty much my entire life, but as soon as I got a street bike, I noticed the weight difference was very hard to keep at balance point. First a wheelie is never "safe" lol Second Balance point wheelies require a lot more skill including using the rear brake. Third he did say he's not a wheelie guy Not trying to be a dick but "chasing" is how us normal people do wheelies, because you can just let off the throttle to drop it back down.

If hes not a wheelie guy then he shouldnt have a vid trying to teach them. if you cant control a wheelie yet then wait until u can to comment of whats better or safer. I think it's predictable especially if you control the variables. Keep the same rolling speed and clutch up at, 5k, 6k, 7k, 8k, 9k rpm etc. It's physics and that's a lot safer than a 10mph 10k clutch up for the first time.
