Thanks for the mention on the show today (and the compliment, Kristian). I was skeptical about Wicked (enjoy musicals but have never seen the stage show) but it really impressed and surprised me. They did a great job and the trailers don't do it justice.

She played an amazing SuperGirl, I would love to see her in an action film or sci-fi film in the future…I think Gunn did the right thing choosing to distance themselves from the unsuccessful DC films of the past.

I really enjoyed the program, thank you very much. The comedians I liked to watch their films: Danny Kaye - one of the most talented people I have seen as a comedian, singer and dancer. In addition, I liked the French actor Louis de Funès (not so well known in the US), he shot about 150 films. His specialty is slapstick films. My recommendation for one of the funniest TV series - Fawlty Towers, a British series starring John Cleese, who wrote and stars in it together with his wife. 2 seasons, a total of 12 episodes - you will pee from laughing.

Wicked isn't really my thing, but I'm glad to see audience reactions are good so far. Gladiator 2 is definitely more my style, so I'll be seeing that one that weekend. Jack Ryan is also my style. The show was fantastic even though it can be hard to follow at times, but I was glad to find out it'll be continuing in movie form with Krasinski and the other cast from the show. I'm guessing it was always the plan to only do 4 seasons to then bring the franchise back to the big screen. It better be on the big screen. As for Billy Zane as Marlon Brando, that picture is nuts. He looks just like him! I didn't even know about that Brando movie either, but I may have to check it out. And I can't help but feel bad for Sasha Calle. She was one of the best things about The Flash. Maybe Gunn and Safron can offer her something in the DCU.

I kept saying to people that whenever I watched the trailer. Despite the fact that ariana does not have that many lines, I could tell that she was doing a good job.I got the same feeling with jennifer hudson, just from one trailer for dream girls. And believe me, i'm not a big ariana grande fan. Lol i respect her voice, but I thought that she oversang when she was younger, but she got better as she aged and more controlled

I saw Wicked on Broadway in 2007, the set was beautiful, I was a theatre major and it meant a lot to me. I am very happy this movie is coming out, however, I may have already seen the top version.

There was chatter at least that Dune was a two parter, but there is nothing in the marketing that says Wicked is a part one. I wonder why that is? 🤔 Regarding the Cynthia Erivo stuff, the movie is bigger than the issues. Honestly if Kristian hadn't mentioned it I would have no idea. There's been such a mass exodus from Twitter/X, that these "controversies" aren't as big as you think

on the fan side of things, any fan would quickly realize that none of the marketing has absolutely anything from part 2. cynthia and Ariana are never seen post-timeskip on the side of the general public i think they saw it worked for both IT: chapter one and Dune: part one and decided theres nothing wrong with leaving the first film right before a time jump as part 1 for all 3 of these IPs *technically* do work as standalone movies

I don’t support these actors who want to vocalize about any slights they receive from the audiences, to me it comes with the job of creativity…there will always be idiots out there who want to sexualize or even complain about anything … when doing interviews, hold the line and play your position…talk positive for whatever you are showcasing…

I would rather have good singers in this case and okay actors but either way I think Ariana said she trained more for the role because she has been a fanatic of the stage show for years. Beauty and Beast is a great example of a live action musical that chose acting over singing and in my opinion it was to it’s detriment quality wise.
