AMEN! People think repent means, "stop being bad and start being good" but that is SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS. Gospel repentance is seeing that according to God's law we are dead because of sin!!...and it is by THE FRUIT OF FAITH in Christ and His righteousness that everything changes for us when we submit to "God is good" and live from faith in Him. Christ has provided our death for us and was raised by God! HE IS LORD AND JUDGE! We are commanded to repent and believe the gospel and live from faith in God. By His Spirit in JOY living a submitted life to God is inexpressible!. Going in a totally new direction for HIS PLANS to save sinners through His Son in the gospel. WE CAN REST IN CHRIST! He gives us gifts to love and serve each other and He does not lead us to sin! We do deeds of love and co-labor with Christ to share this GOOD NEWS that salvation belongs to God and ALL may come and receive the Lord in faith for He has the victory over death for our sin! Repent and believe the gospel! By their fruit you will know them!! Rom. 10:8-10
