Wicked the stage show was boring af. The story makes no sense. Female villains should be flawed and motivated by selfishness or hatred just like male villains. It’s like women can’t possibly be flawed until they’re traumatized by men? That’s not the basis for a good story. It’s stupid. Watch a good musical like Wonka or a classic like Funny Girl or Grease or Rocky Horror Picture Show. There’s so many great ones. And Ariana grande isn’t in any of them.

I just watched Wicked and I felt every ounce of it. The entire movie irritated my intelligence, let alone my enjoyment of the lore of Oz’s story & my curiosity of who the Witches were before everything was basically a war. 20 minutes into the movie I already started questioning who wrote this film, the narrative plot is all over the place from the main character being seen as ugly and disgusting for no real liable reason but we’re in a reality with literal talking animals and magic. The movie shoudlve been named Wicked University with the amount of unessary time spent at the school with two main characters not doing anything to drive the story forward but singing with no real merit. Also, why does Oz reveal his true identity in 3 seconds of meeting the main characters? I say this cause Oz is not only a manipulater but also highly intelligent enough to literally make people believe he is like a God to grant wishes. Overall what is the real conflict? Is it colorism? Animal cruelty? Manipulative lies? Or just multiple ideas thrown into one movie. Trash.

I didn't care for it at all and I was disappointed because I went to see it after I read that some people said it was so great. I never saw the stage play. I didn't care for the music either and it was so long I fell asleep. You're right, it sucked!
