I want nothing more than to be in love with this movie. I'm seeing it in 7 hours. The vocals on the soundtrack are overproduced. Period. No one needs pitch correction except Goldblum and Yeoh.

I listened to the soundtrack after seeing the movie today and am I the only one who feels like the soundtrack sounds very strange? There is a robotic quality to all the vocals, like they are being sung by an AI. This is most noticeable in Popular. The live vocals we had in the movie were much better. I wonder if it is just really bad auto tuning.

No, you're not the only one, I also had this impression with mine, I don't recognize Ariana's voice either, I find that a shame :(

@@FANDEUNBOXINGAriana’s singing completely different though. I will admit that the soundtrack does sound a little auto tuned but I only get that feeling from “Dancing through life” but every other song in my opinion is great.

The soundtrack mix is ​​rough. Some songs (especially NOMTW and DG) sound very metallic. It's like you're listening to it with really bad speakers, like a speaker is grinding somewhere. I've tried it on three different speakers now and it's definitely the song itself. I really miss the orchestrations of some songs, and they don't convey the melodies, builds and punch that the original score does so well. Really a big disappointment for me :(

Thank goodness I'm not alone! Some parts sound fake, much softer and less percussive than OBC. The breathing in NOMTW finished me off but that's nitpicking and I'm not a singer at all but that's my opinion.

I haven't seen it yet but I was listening to the soundtrack this morning and "The Wizard and I" is my favorite song and it sounded like autotuned or bland on the soundtrack and I hope the movie is better but maybe not 😅🥲
