I do not support either team. My observations were not about a disallowed try etc….the latitude of the so called line speed of the Panthers was the determining factor…. there was no way they were onside 3 out of the 6. They have always seem to manage the ref and the games they lost was because the ref made them stay a full 10. Other teams do it also just that the Panthers are better at it. They wore the Storm down with 8 metre defence. The game is refereed differently to the comp and Smith was a master at it. Storm missed big Nelson which was obvious but still played a strong game. Hope they enjoy their day and put a decent side on the field in the club challenge.

The shot on the side showed the ball hit the ground, the behind view showed an arm, this is because the arm was in front of the ball giving the illusion the ball didn't hit the ground, but it had hit the grass on the other side of the arm, hence why the side shot shows it hitting the ground. There was also some speculation that the pathers try never actually had the ball touch the green along with the pappy kick where penrith actually only had one leg inside field of place when caught then proceeded to put other leg into touch. Indicating Storm should have had ball back. This and with Nelson given a grade 3 probably tells you all you need to know and although this is only speculative, I find it very interesting how refs are influencing one side over another in big games, where possibly alot of money has been placed on one side to win. This isn't match fixing but it's certainly influencing a result.

so how was the try from#2 from Panthers allowed yet it did not touch the ground and then went into touch

Definite try. So obvious you have to question the honesty of the system.

Cmon. Was the quickest bunker ive ever seen. We were 2 for one against in the loungeroom. After i seen the last one it was 3-0. Would have changed the game
@mrdbooks72852 ай бұрын
Out of bounds ruling after Penrith first try kick off, his foot was in the air when he catched it and then he put his foot out of bounds after he caught it - Bunker would have picked that up, if the Bunker was not corrupt.
@db58372 ай бұрын
His arm was around the ball but it was the point of the ball that touched the ground. The bunker was quick to move from that angle to where it was obscured. Panther's forwards were too strong and Nelson was missed.

If the ball is grounded, than maybe we watched two difderent games, coz from the game I watched, the ball never hits the ground

Glad Penrith won. The romance of 4 in a row and 5 consecutive GFs is magical. I dare say, Penerith will be competitive _again_ in 2025. I sure hope they are and I would love to see them 5 GFs in a row. The recruitment and junior development system that Penrith has put in place is why the romance of 5 in a row is happening. Phil Gould had a hand in creating that junior development system & he should be congratulated for it...but not too much 😉.

How about the controversy that storm refused to offload the ball and only scored 6 points in 80 mins. What a game plan lol

@nikhilpatel9812 ай бұрын
@@sebastianmurphy761 bro we are not crying because every other fan would agree on facts. How a coach never won a single trophy before won back to back 4 years. I understand you would say Penrith has better players but Storm is best team this year with a minor premiership. Also Storm kicked ass Penrith twice this year in the regular season so this just doesn't happen out of the blue. Last year they came from behind in a final when the opponent knows what's at the stake and they lost that big margin in 15min you must be living on drugs if you believe no favouritism going on here.

Gallen not thinking it hit the ground is hilarious. It hit the ground as much as Fifita's hit the ground in his GF win.

Made no difference, they still would have lost
@Waywind4202 ай бұрын
Not really how it works. A score of 12 vs 14 for 30 minutes is a lot of pressure to deal with for the panthers guys, and it would also mean the Storm could continue playing their game plan rather than trying to force things to happen when there's nothing on. Needing multiple scores in a small amount of time changes the game, forces you to take risks and throw the dice more.

The storm saved their worst game for the GF. They have been putting cricket scores on weak teams. Penrith are the best in the NRL. Accept defeat, see you 2025
