The amount of guilt OP feels suggests that not only she cheated on him, she's probably used to manipulating him emotionally and gaslighting him... and her hysteric reaction in the therapist proves my point.

Actually, guilt is one of the most common emotions beside shock, disgust and rage in such a situation. Also the one emotion that cheaters and manipulators build their whole spiel of "don't leave me" "I'll get better if you only give me a chance", "You snooped on me/disrespected my privacy" and last but not least "it's your fault, because-" on.

What really angers me about this story is the injustice in all of this. She made OP suffer, forced him into a long divorce battle that almost cost him his life, just to not lose his earnings in addition to everything else... and she completely got away with it and got her "and they lived happily ever after". She doesn't deserve it.

I blame it on the no-fault divorce states. Sure, they were nice when first added, but now they are a con, a tool to get money from good people. They cause benefit for cheaters who don't work. At least with at-fault, you can divorce and punish them (with proof) via paying you back. So never marry in a no-fault state. You'd be better off being in the same state you were before.

@C.G.Gaster6 ай бұрын
@A-Warthog-cc1wm The idea was to allow for divorce without having to lie about abuse, from what I've been told. However I agree, it's now just a game, a scam, for cheaters and gold diggers. It's better to just stay dating than get married in a no-fault divorce. Especially without a prenup.
@boblee79986 ай бұрын
That's why I'll never be married unless we move. She's paid to cheat and leave.
@BoopleSnuffeGaming6 ай бұрын
IDK how it is in other states, but in Florida, no fault divorce means "A spouse may file for a divorce without his or her spouse having committed any fault."
@MrMonnTM6 ай бұрын
@@BoopleSnuffeGaming Which basically means I can do shit TO YOU and FILE DIVORCE. No fault is backed up by other pesky things like spousal support, division of assets (retirement included). In at fault states for example for infidelity you can actually safe yourself from alimony or 50/50 asset division (depending on length and depth of affair). You can even demand compensation at some at fault states. No fault states give you "free hands" to spit on your partner and marriage institute and have a gangbang in your marital bed while handing you divorce papers and you can't do shit about this. Now let's think objectively in most cases men are the bread winners thus they stand to lose much more materialy, based on buying things women tend on average buy the most depreciating assets. Next is fucking alimony, there are many different cases but in most (i think) you have to pay him/her alimony based on difference in your income so if he or she works but receives much less they still receive alimony based on your income difference. Child support in some states around the world EVEN despite being lied about your child being yours (i.e. paternity fraud) if you signed a birth certificate you are still obligated to pay child support. + About alimony, amount of years you have to pay alimony depends on amount of years you were married + in some cases even if they remarry you still have to pay them, how fair is that? At this point I'm asking, why would anyone commit to marriage without a prenuptial agreement? How naive and stupid can you get? Women chose less hours and professions that pay less so even if you will not have children and she lives by mantra, my money is my money and your money is our money you will still get fucked. Marriage laws are "genderless" but in reality they are heavily stacked against males. Prenup in most cases equalizes, because you cannot have a prenup that is heavily stacked against one party. The worst part many countries are starting to adapt "common law" where people who aren't married are basically given the same status as married people via living together for 3-10 years. Both men and women are heavily encouraged to cheat or manipulate their partners and if not encouraged then pardoned or ignored. If my son or daughter cheated they would be disowned, can many people do that to their shitlings? No, many stand for their shitlings to their dying breath while admirable at first in future prospect that means that they are safeguarding a shit stain of a human being who will make other people's life's miserable (maybe including you).

Haven't finished listening yet and I know OP's not at fault but he did make a mistake in dating an 18-19 yr old that either lacked relationship experience or maturity or BOTH when he's 5 years her senior. Like it's not a big age gap but between someone that's 18-ish and someone that's 24-ish, there's a bit of a gap in life experiences. Like the wife sucks greatly and she's a hundred percent at fault but let this be a lesson- don't date and marry someone that's not your equal.

Age doesn't really have anything to do with it, plenty of young people make good choices and plenty of older folks make bad choices. I'm 3 years older than my wife and we started dating when she was 18. We've been together for 16 years with 3 kids and no issues. Different life experiences are fine and don't equate to 1 party being less than another. You shouldn't look for equality, just loyalty/honesty. Sometimes people are just shit-bags (no matter the age) and need to be avoided.
@CherryGryffon6 ай бұрын
It REALLY depends on the person. My husband is 17 years my senior but we could not be more similar in interests and maturity. So much so that he, thrice divorced and already had the 2 kids he wanted, changed his mind on never marrying again AND having more kids, just to make this a permanent relationship. Now we're 15 years on, most of which married, with no end anywhere in sight. The key is KNOWING the person you are with. Most people don't really ask the big deep questions, let alone hypotheticals, but really that's all we've done for this decade and a half. "If this situation happened, how would you react? What would you think?" And then watch to see that their words line up with how they react to situations in reality. If they line up, you've got a good idea of who your partner is and how they think. If they don't, well.. That's how you get these kinds of spouses T: @@erik61801

@greenbrickbox3392Ай бұрын
No fault states exist because it is idiocy for the state to force people to stay in a bad marriage just because no one is proven to be at fault via adultery, abandonment, incarceration or violence. Prior to this people would have to do ridiculous workarounds like faking adultery or moving to a state where no-fault divorce exists to have a "migratory divorce". Also inheritance isn't a marital property, don't place it in joint accounts or with marital property and get legal advice if you really don't want it to be divided up in a divorce. If you have property which needs to be protected ahead of time you should get legal advice regardless as marriage is above everything else a legal contract between two people which gives legal status, new rights/responsibilities and gives your spouse additional powers over shared assets and medical decisions should you be incapacitated.

The guys you would settle and know for a fact that they are the best a taking care of things financially atleast. Any woman that cheats on their own spouse never truly loved them. Its so obvious that this guy lived with rose colored glasses and refused to see the issues for what its worth. Shes an alcoholic? Yea that’s normally how alcoholics are. Its girls like this that ruin everything for every other good girl out there in the world.

if she can cheat on OP with AP and cheat again with that “old flame” then she is most likely continuing this till her marriage with the poor soul she caught recently with other guys, my goodness she did a g*ngb*ng with OP’s buddies too so no surprise she loves to play as the ball” in that team…with the record she had of doing I’m not surprised the baby she is carrying is not even the husband’s OP had the upper hand in all this as he has proof in her infidelity, lies and manipulation. Yet he chose to want out, well it’s better than getting it worse, she can turn her family against him and possibly say he was the problem why she resorted to cheating or he did not appreciate her enough or more why she chose “buddy” and many more excuses…just cut her out and move on, she is not worth it

I'm 41 guy and my gf is 36, we are together for 13 years and live together for 10 years. None of us were ever married, no children, no common assets, separate bank accounts. We have excelent relationship. All of those mentioned things are just a strain on a relationship. Do we really need a paper from a governement to prove we love each other?

Remember people most of the time someone tries to commit suicide and survives they regret it the majority of people regret trying to end their lives so get through whatever you're going through and more than likely you will be fine maybe not financially but in that aspect of wanting to harm yourself

Fault occurs in every divorce, and I recommend that either you get married in a Fault state or have an iron clad pre-nupt w/ infidelity clauses in it.

Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together ,it was a really bad phase but we got through it

Why would a guy in this Position not trick her into believing he wants to make it work. But needs to divorce in order to get back his decision to continue on. Not being forced. Agree that both sides get nothing but what you came into the relationship with. Then ditch the smitch. Worth a shot i think 😂😂😂

OP: feels bad for losing his morality by blackmailing Also OP: purposely leads her on to get a clean and easy divorce Not saying he’s in the wrong, I just thought it was funny
@arthaiser6 ай бұрын
i feel like he shouldnt have done the "i wont tell anything if you dont contest divorce" thing. he should have told everyone and as fast as possible, that would do the most harm. fuck the finances and the divorce, at least im of the opinion that if you cheat on me, is going to cost you, and is going to cost you as much as i am able to make it cost. if half her trust circle learns at the same time that she is a cheating whore, chances are they arent going to stay with her, that is going to isolate her which in the long run is going to do much more harm to her life as a while, probably prevent her from maintaining that relationship since the other guy is also going to be shamed for doing what he was doing, which is going to pressure their relationship a lot too... family also berating her... i know is not a good person thing to think like that, but hey, if you dont cheat nothing like that happens, is clear that op has been suffering a lot because of the cheating, and i mean a lot, i feel like trying to return all the suffering is only natural

He needs to move on and stop obsessing over the literal trash fire that is his ex. He’s lucky he wasn’t stuck co parenting with her. It’s only a matter of time before she cheats on her new husband. Assuming she isn’t already
