Wil Film vs. Wildbrain (which has better animation?)

I personally prefer Wil Films animation, specifically in season 8-10. There is so much detail in lighting and setting too much for me to even notice the "flaws" of the animation. And I don't necessarily care about the blocky-ish fight scenes because this is LEGO after all not 100% human figures. I don't really like the way Wild Brain does action scenes, they seem overly exaggerated like the Power Rangers, and it kind of takes the seriousness away from certain parts. But that's just my opinion.

WildBrain's animation has improved a lot. In my opinion, WildBrain is better with movement and Wilfilm is better with the overall look.

As someone who did a little bit of animation, Wild Brain have a better animation imo, because of the color, lighting, fluid exaggeration, better squash and stretch, less animating mistakes and etc. But if we're talking about effects I would say WilFilm did it better. Not saying that Wild Brain didn't do good, they're actually imo on par with with Wil Film, Probably because Wil Film been with Ninjago for many years while Wild Brain only been with Ninjago since 2019

I significantly prefer wilfilms spinjitzu animation, which he wildbrain animation for spinjitzu looks really weird and I don’t like the 2D look of it

@@danielluedits I meant lighting. In my own personal opinion, wildbrains lightning looks a lot better. You can see how it glows and it looks a lot more fluid as jay charges it up.

Yeah and the Spinjitzu design in Season 15 looks really improved. And by Season 15, I mean Crystalized because some people think the Island is a season, but it’s a miniseries

@@sekousoumahoro3900 I will say, I preferred the spinjitsu in sons of garmadon top march of the oni because each was unique to their element; cole's had dirt and rocks spinning around him, zane looked like a ball of ice, etc. Wildbrains is more like the old spinjitsu, which is ok i guess, but takes away the elemental feeling

I really love how high budget WilFilm were in Seasons 8-10 because it just makes them equally as good as WildBrain which have improved since Season 11, from the spinjitzu animations and the fight scenes having nice frames and choreography it’s hard for me to choose

for clothes i choose wilfim because its more realistic because its *Lego* ninjago so the plastic looking clothes are very accurate fights wild brain animal wil film for spinjitzu wil film because it seems like they have there spinjitzu under control and wild brain own is like as if its showing that the ninja are getting weaker so the spinjitzu isnt at full power

the only spinjitzu I prefer in the wilfilm era was coles in season 8 to 10 it looked so realistic with the combo of rock and lava.

Wildbrain is better. They have improved with the water and the city in the island and seabound

But wilfilms water still looks better both the city and the island, in wildbrain, majurity of the time, ninjago city is just a 2D background

the water animation is very inconcistent with wildbrain, the only time it looked as good as wilfilms is when the hydro bounty was flooded with water, and the rest, not so well look at the hot tub scene in episode 2

@@danielluedits Not necessarily inconsistent. Because in your comparison, you went from praising the water in Seabound, and then jumping BACK to SOFS when WildBrain first came to Ninjago. You’re confusing inconsistency with evolution for some reason. As of the Island, WildBrain’s water definitely looks more realistic and natural. So it’s not really a fair comparison, as you keep calling it inconsistency when your comparison actually shows us how WildBrain has improved with each season. And also, Ninjago City isn’t just a 2D background, so I don’t get why you said that. But some people prefer WildBrain’s current water and oceans (The Island - Seabound) over WilFilm’s, which is perfectly fine. Don’t bash them for it.
