I just realized that rats quest is the exact opposite of the first fighters guild quest in morrowind. morrowind you're killing rats in the attic, oblivion you're saving rats in a basement. the quest is the first quest given in the fighters guild line in both games and both are given to the fighters guild by a dunmer client.

Autism Cat is unsure where this feeling is coming from, but he knows it is significant. As he steps out into the world, our hero witnesses an enormous bag appear right in front of him. As he opens the bag, he finds an endless supply of skooma. With this gift surely bestowed upon him by the gods, he now knows it is time to correct the mistakes of his alternate life. The Kitty Crusade has begun.

I love how im morrowind there was a dunmer called Thelas who was obsessed about pillows and didn't want rats eating them. Then in oblivion there's a Thelas who's obsessed with rats and doesn't want lions eating them. Skyrim should have had a dark elf called Thelas who has mountain lions and is afraid of them getting eaten by giants

I think I've figured out the timeline for this series. First Autism Cat does the as he did in the first 3 episodes, but then on episode 4 in between the episode he does things on his own for a while, remember that. He goes on to do the series as follows until the Shivering Isles, but instead goes all the way back to Morrowind. This is where the Morrowind series begins. He finishes the Morrowind and goes back forward in time, but not forward enough and goes back between episode 4. He decides to change the timeline and this is where this series begins. I hope I cleared it all up. TL;DR: The whole thing is a dragon break.

I really like how the quest defies expectations. Yes, it's about the usual rats in the basement, nothing special there. A common early quest for RPGs. But that it isn't about killing the rats but saving them is a nice twist. And mountain lions? That is just ridiculous and fits with the sometimes totally crazy Elder Scrolls lore.
