Not "LEGAL WARNING" but "LAWFUL NOTICE" Marbury v. Madison shows a clear difference between Legality and that of Law. What was legal to do was not lawful therefore the case was overturned "If courts are to regard the Constitution, and the Constitution is superior to any ordinary act of legislature, the Constitution [...] must govern the case to which they both apply." John Marshall. "It cannot be presumed that any clause in the Constitution is intended to be without effect." John Marshall. "The Constitution is either a superior, paramount law, unchangeable by ordinary means, or it is on a level with ordinary legislative acts, [...] alterable when the legislature shall please to alter it." John Marshall. By the way slavery was legal but it never was lawful and anyone that thinks they have authority over another is attempting to engage in slavery. No one has authority over another except if a crime is being committed.

I encourage the crows by tossing old bread slices and corn cobs on the roof. They have been really good about chasing off the hawks. Even though my runs are all covered with bird netting, it's extra piece of mind. Even if all the crows do is make a ruckus, it's fair warning for everyone to get to cover.

Dogs and cats that grow up together become friends. Our dog was older when we adopted our kitten. He had been in a home with a cat and loved our kitten. When he took a nap she would nap with him, between his legs and against his belly where it was warm.

Male vs. female Cayuga Ducks It is difficult to distinguish between Cayuga males and females because they share the same physical characteristics and coloring. However, male ducks of this species from New York are seen to develop curly tail feathers approximately ten weeks after birth, which the female ducks do not. In addition to that, the sounds they make also help in differentiating between them. The female duck mostly makes a quacking sound while the male duck produces a raspy bark.

They'll be sitting in the trees not far off. I throw out a couple of cups of food for them when I hear them around at feeding time. They are smart birds and if you treat them right, they will protect you and your flock. I feed them close to the tree line and away from the garden.

One thing that will stop predation by hawks is the heavy braided type nylon poultry netting. I have watched a hawk try to get through it for an hour and just scream in frustration and try again and again, for no-gain. It looks like heavy-duty chicken wire. You can cover a large run area, or clean up the feathers if you would rather do that. You decide if you’re going to eat chicken, or if the hawks are.
