I remember a year ago we were cutting the grass in our little backyard(it's right next to our deck, it's fenced) and we saw stuff moving in the ground. We found out they were rabbits(4). We let them be but we put a camera next to it to watch when the mom came back. I have 2 dogs(Frenchies) so we put up another gate to block them. One day I was in my room, and I noticed it started to rain. A lot. I went back to my homework and suddenly thought of the nest. I ran outside and the nest was filled with rain and 2 were trying to get out. So I had to get my mom to help. We got 3 out. One of them we found later in a pile of grass, covered in maggots so that one must've died earlier in the nest. We got as much of the old nest that we could and put the rabbits in a shoebox, and placed in on top of the old nest. Then we put a foldable table on top to prevent them from drowning again if it rained. Some weeks later, they left. We still see rabbits a lot, especially at night.

Also, if you're cutting grass always check for rabbit nests, you don't want killing baby rabbits on your conscience.

We have a nest in our back yard right now in one of our mulch beds, but its at the back of our yard so we can’t see it very easily through the windows, but I wish we could! I’m afraid to walk out when she’s feeding to see because I don’t want to scare her

Terrific video! I've been filming rabbits for a while and was lucky to have had a nest in my back yard in spring 2013 and this spring 2014. The rabbits left the nest but continued to sort of hang out for quite a while after, coming in and out of my yard.

I was looking for rabbit information and discovered this video. Thank you. I saw something really remarkable in my yard today. There are at least two wild rabbits enjoying my yard and garden. Today, one of them stretched out on some mulch and rolled and scratched its back much like a dog might do. It rolled about 7 times altogether. I'd never seen anything like that. Have you?

They're in a house so it's not too bad. I bet the glare from the window is blocking view, or the bunny mom is used to the house size so a little thing in the windo isn't too frightening. Lol, wild bunnies are fun tho. They can be trained to beg for food. Like dog food

So cute, but can do so much damage! I was driving out of a small country town when one of these rabbits darted out in front of the car. My first reaction was to brake to maybe slow enough for it to clear out of the way, but the front left wheel of the large Ford I was driving ring-barked the fur right off the suicidal bunny's mid section. The car was ok, lucky had nothing to clean off it, but bunny's soul was departing when I checked it, as one eye stared up at me. Ahhhhh, memories of cute bunnies :-)
