Just to let you know, the "vodka" wasn't vodka, it was pure alcohol used to make vodka which can get you VERY drunk, very quickly - depending on the dosage. And since this is St Trinians I would assume it was a hiiigh dosage of 100% pure alcohol he drank there. 😂😂

You need to watch the classic 1950s to 1960s black and white St Trinians movies, and was based off a British cartoon comic strip series, created and drawn by Ronald Searle. The Head Mistress and the father are played by the same actor. In the classic films the Head Mistress is always played by a male actor. These classic St Trinians movies where always on when i was growing up and the 2007 version is an modern take which is amazing.

The original films were made in the 1950s and 1960s with the Headmistress (and her brother) played by Alastair Sim, Joyce Grenfell as a policewoman who goes to work at the school undercover , and George Cole (probably best known as Arthur Daley in Minder) as the spiv Flash Harry. The films themselves were inspired by a comic strip written by Ronald Searle. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Trinian%27s_School en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Belles_of_St._Trinian%27s

I'm a new viewer, so I'm a doughnut fresh out of the baker's oven.... And getting to see you watch my favourite chick-teen flicks from my youth is EVERYTHING. Fun fact. Rupert Everett is playing Fritton AND the father, but he also was adjacent Colin Firth in the "Importance of Being Ernest." So there's a lot of meta going on regarding their on-screen chemistry. ON TOP of that, Colin was Mr. Darcy (the dog's name!) in Pride and Prejudice, which has a gazillion meta jokes throughout St. Trinian's :D so it's got major tongue in cheek humour as to the main actor's other roles.

Man my first secondary school was closed down during my 3rd year. We always compared it to st Trinnians. Due to the fact that it was just a mad house, we had races down the hallway on spinny chairs using fire extinguishers, there was constant fights, the teachers were more like friends than authority figures. Granted we didn’t learn that much but we had fun. Looking back it’s no wonder why they shut the place down 😂

St Trinian's has a lot in common with the Adams Family, it started of as black comedic comic strip about an Anarchic girl school then was made into a series of movies in starting in the 1954 and 5 movies were made with the last being made in 1966. I was rebooted in 1980 then this movie and its sequel. They were always risqué and a little dark I also noticed you didn't point out the English teacher is Cerci Lannister

I never did anything bad to him so knew he hated me because of what my dad had done. so one day I quickly just put a big tub of glue in the middle of his desk. He couldn't say anything without confirming rumours. But he gave the lesson standing.
