Brought back memories. I would fish here from a float tube in the mid 90s. If you ever go back, hike to emerald lake and catch grayling on almost every cast.

At Last, The Montana Video!! Ever since I started following u guys a few years ago, and watched you slay all the Eastern Sierra waters, I would always think to myself, These guys would kill it in Montana. And now finally, You guys did. It looks like you guys had a good mission. Some of those Donkeys you roped were some real Luthers. If you guys go again, You should consider looking at the Missouri River. The 3 guides I know that live in Missoula all do great locally but still prefer to take the 3 hour drive down to the Missouri when they really want to have an epic day. You can camp in in the town of Craig where you can hit the 15 freeway with a rock it's so close. The Missouri is fed by Fort Peck Reservoir which is known for the "Valley of the Giants" among several other things. It's still on my bucket list because You need a jet boat to access the area but maybe you could get the Kayak's in there? All I know is I gotta get there some day. As for the Missouri, you guys would do insane there. There are fish everywhere, and big ones too. Giant Browns & Football Sized Bows. I would also love to see you guys in a Bull Trout area. I have a secret hole in The West Fork of the Bitterroot just below the Painted Rocks Reservoir that's a sure thing for Huge Bulls on a spartan minnow. As Always, thanks for taking the time to film your trips. I'll be lookin' for you at Hesperia Lake next month. God Bless the GSF!!....and what was up w/that dude The Spanker hooked into @ 50:57 , you aint gonna fit that in the net??? PS-(The one Spanker caught @ 33:00 was a Lake Trout/Mackinaw. Splake's look more "Brookyish" with an orange belly, but u guys knew that. I think the one at 43:00 was a Bonneville, no? Either way, it was an Epic Flapjack). "Chunky Bro" lol.

You should definitely try fly fishing especially in beautiful sky country like Montana, Idaho, Wyoming etc. the feeling of catching a tank of a trout on a fly rod beats a spinning rod in my opinion. Also, your videos are definitely improving! 👏 I’m not a fan of loud music during picturesque landscapes and different aerial shots while fishing are soothing 👌 well done!
