One night I heard a noise on my porch and figured it was one of the three feral sibling cats I feed, but it was unusually loud, so I went to check. The moon was bright so when I went and peeked out the shades I could see the outline of dog playing with one of the pool balls, but it was strange as it appeared he was somehow throwing it up and catching it, so I turned on the light to get a better look, and I was stunned to find a raccoon, not a dog, playing with one of the balls. Unfortunately I spooked him as I wasn't quiet enough opening the shades, and the light didn't help. There are two hilarious raccoon videos you have to see if you like animal videos, search "raccoon and dunkin donuts" and raccoon pool party"...the first is a must see. I'd give a link but YT doesn't allow them.

I had 3 raccoons, 3 opossums, 2 cats, and 4 dogs living in the house with my wife and myself. For the most part, we all got along fantastic! Brings back great memories. Thanks.

Raccoons love honey roasted peanuts because I gave a wild raccoon half a bag of honey roasted peanuts and the Raccoon who I named Rocket happily ate up the honey roasted peanuts that I gave him. I know that he will remember me for that act of kindness upon him that day.

He was by tonight for more unsalted peanuts and cat food and drank an entire bowl of water and cleaned his paws. They are good at eating ticks too! :)

The title is a bit wrong as hes not a wild raccoon that bonded with a dog and then runs back to his wild family He was a hand fed baby raccoon thats now a pet and cant be returned to the wild
