brilliant vid hope to see more cooking like this! just a little tip when you take the bark off sticks to cook with just hold them in the fire for a few seconds to kill the bacteria that lives under the bark

That looked like the perfect overnighter. You're a modern caveman Dan. But, you're nice with it. If Woolly Mammoth still roamed Yorkshire, you'd be eating it. Might need a bigger spit though.

If you cut a groove out of one of the spot roast sticks one in the ground cut a square end on the meat stick you can turn it four different settings so meat gets done even also green wood cut off bark doesn't burn so Mitch so on end a notch and one end square on edge of roasting stick try it good luck enjoy your videos cheers mick

I use metal skewers in meat like joints , to help cook meat internally , they don't weigh much ,and can go into your cook kit.
@oshiforb60523 жыл бұрын
Hi, great video, you should really should strip all the bark of the wood before you push it through the meat because the bark will more than likely have contaminants on it whereas the clean wood will be clear of any contamination. The meat however looked great , look forward to you’re next video.

Fairy light affair food wise then. (I would struggle to move after eating all that). Cannot wait until it is a whole pig hog roast! Nice one - enjoyed it. Also like you idea about you do not always need the most expensive gear. Sure it is nice to have good stuff but it should be about enjoying the outdoors more.
