Where can I get that engine stand from? I just ordered the cam tool from OMB but couldn't find the stand.

I bought the Wildcat 223 from OMBWAREHOUSE just because of your videos here ! I was planning on doing the 20 over rod and piston ...to hopefully have 17 thousandths in the hole as well...but just noticed a 50 thousandths over forged rod avail now for the Wildcat 223. Kinda scary though, if my engine is anything like yours ( Still waiting , 10 day delivery special order wait time ) ...that only leaves 7 thousandths in the hole. Think it's safer going 20/20 rod/piston combo....50 in one shot with the rod seems like a lot....any thoughts ?

Here are my thoughts. Use the +.020 rod and the .570 pin height piston. Once these get installed and we know the true deck height, we can get our .030” clearance through the head gasket. Head gaskets come in .010”, .018”, .027”, and .040” thicknesses. Too many variables with these engines to have one “recipe” that fits all engines. The +.050” rod uses the .550” pin height piston

Hey Eric, I set my ARC flywheel to 65ft pounds and now I'm trying to get it off to add a cam to the 223. It's not working with the knocker method, you think a puller is the only way?
@TheGrayGoatGarage3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I would only use a puller on ARC and PVL flywheels. NOT an outside puller. You need to have a small one for the threaded holes in the front of the flywheel! www.ombwarehouse.com/7250-flywheel-puller.html

@@TheGrayGoatGarage I ordered the ARC puller, thanks so much!

What degree of offset timing key would I need for a 223 wildcat with a EC Rev Wheel Billet Flywheel for Honda GX200/Clone ?
@TheGrayGoatGarage Жыл бұрын
The Rev flywheels have 34 degrees of advance built in. Use the stock key!

Anyone know what the stock specs are on the wildcat 223 cam are like lift duration? Been trying find that out and what the Tillotson 212r while they were being sold. I have one just surprised the stock 212r cam had like .264 .265lift on the Tillotson was wondering if anyone else had similar results.
@TheGrayGoatGarage7 ай бұрын
The lift is .224” on the stock Wildcat cam. I have no idea what the duration is. Most stock cams for 6.5hp industrial engines are .224” lift

What camshaft fits with no clearance issues? Hot265 hemi? Mod2?
@TheGrayGoatGarage Жыл бұрын
Never count on any aftermarket cam fitting with no interference. We have to check them all! Too many inconsistencies with Chinese industrial engines!

What's the torque on the factory 223?
@TheGrayGoatGarage3 жыл бұрын
The manual claims 12.5 Newton Meters which equates to a little over 9 for pounds of torque

Will these heads fit on a Predator Hemi? I've asked everyone including EC and no one will answer me LoL. I really only want to know yes or no, not get into why and what and this and that with everyone.
@TheGrayGoatGarage10 ай бұрын
Yes, this head will fit the Predator 212 Hemi block You will need to have the correct length pushrods but other than that it is a direct bolt on
@NubsWithGuns5 ай бұрын
@@TheGrayGoatGarageI never noticed that you answered me, sorry for that. THanks for the repl, I still didn't have an answer until right now haha. Glad that I decided to rewatch this video. Regardless it was the dowel pins and bolt holes I was concerned with mostly, different pushrods makes perfect sense. But not everyone knows that so thanks for making sure that I did.
