I had same side of face paralysis. Bell’s palsy they told me. I did not have the pre headaches and other symptoms you have. Over time movement came back about 85%. Took about 3/4 year for me. Thats been about 20 yrs ago and the 15% never came back. That’s good that the other problems are better now for you. Hope your recovery goes well. Tears filled my eyes watching this, Vanessa. You are so brave! I can see from the differences in each clip that your facial paralysis is improving! Do not worry if the nerves will heal . . . they ARE healing!! Also, your English is very improved and you speak it almost as your first language. Congratulations! Not an easy task. I caught Lyme disease in 2016. I was fortunate that it did not manifest neurologically - however it did lead to chronic inflammation and damage to my heart, symptoms that still effect me even tho the bacteria is gone. I'm sorry you are going through this....back in 2015 I got bite by a tick in Kansas . Same thing happened with symptoms. I soon went back home to Hawaii and got worse. The doctors did not know what was going on with me. I then returned to the states and my condition grew worse. It wasn't until after a year they diagnosed me with Lyme Disease after , I told them it may be that after my own research. I too had the same thing happened with my face and seizure like episodes til this day. I have not been able to take medicines, I have become allergic to many things, the pains have increased. I already struggled with Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis. It is quite challenging to endure, especially when you have young children. I always loved the outdoors, now I am very limited to go out to do any hikes. Again I am sorry, I pray for you

I got a tick bite many years ago while camping with my Girl Scouts. I took them quite awhile to figure it out because it was almost unknown to be in the area where I lived (California) very far from Lyme Connecticut. I had bone aches, face pain with nerve inflammation, lost much of my short term memory, my peripheral vision was affected. i would get lost while driving so I gave it up. I became paralyzed and couldn’t move for several days. There were no conclusive tests for me at that time. Finally, they gave me strong antibiotics. It took several rounds before I was better and it took awhile before the fevers went away. I am much better. I’m 73 now and when I see you it brings back memories. Going back into nature will help you heal. Watch for those nasty ticks. Thank goodness for antibiotics. Good luck my dear. You are my hero🌺👵🏻

I just saw this video and was shocked. Please hang in there. Your videos are wonderful. I would like to give you a little encouragement. It took me 10 years to start to feel normal again after suffering a blast injury and multiple gun shots wounds in Iraq. The TBI was frustrating because I couldn't remember things. I had six damaged nerves from the gun shot wounds. Today, 15 years later, I am pretty much back to normal, except for constant pain. So hang in there and don't get discouraged. Nerves can regenerate.

That is what I love about your videos, teaching about the forests, leaving nature behind a little better then when you found it...not destroying it. I had viral meningitis in my late 20s. was the sickest I think I ever was, and the headache was indescribable. I feel for you. Many folks get infections from ticks. Here in the USA we are in the state of Maryland and in the summer there are massive amounts of ticks. My Mom got lime disease and struggled with it. I literally gave up deer hunting with a bow and arrow because of the baby ticks out in September. I ran into a spider web full of hundreds of them. It was at that time I stopped bow hunting. Please get well and give this time. You are in our prayers. Oh and when I was very small I got Rocky Mountain Spotted Tick fever, from a tick of course. We were tough little kids and got through it with rashes and lots of calamine lotion. Hang in there, we're all behind you. OXOX

Vanessa I had a situation back in about 2015. I was in a extremely volatile stressful relationship in a marriage. Then one day the whole entire left side of my face dropped and drooped down to where I could not talk and no longer had a smile. My situation the doctor called Bell's Palsy. I had to keep completely calm and not lift weights for 3 months, had trouble focusing left eye and could not smile or talk and when I ate I dreuled. After six months I began to use face more and talk better and it actually took 2 years to gain my smile back again! To this day I still have muscle problems in left side of face and i feel fatigue. I feel confident that your face will gain strength and your voice and smile back again. What you have is just temporary. Just keep praying and do not get over stressed with anything and make sure you do not over do your duties of house wife, farm life, or out door life. You are going to mend just fine so hang in there and keep love in your heart. We all love you so much!

You are an absolute beautiful, beautiful, beautiful human being. In your last video in the bush, you asked that people who have had experience with meningitis to leave comments. I did not. Why? Because my closest cousin's son and my son's closest friend came down with meningitis at the age of 17 and died within a week. I have prayed for you and am so glad to see you doing so well.
