Checkout radiant heat panels! Really cool and simple tech that is more efficient than heating air. As a solar installer/tech I must say you all did a really excellent job with this setup. Everything is squared up, the system is easy to understand at a glance, and the cable management is better than a lot of the pros I spend time cleaning up after.

You should look into Geothermal Heat Pumps. I am sure you would love that. So low maintenance.

Yeh, so many home owners in Europe do install that now. It is like their solar system. Expensive to setup but after you are done it runs on its own. Wood heating is very very time consuming.

Have you notice the soil there? It is seriously rocky and would be a total pain to excavate.

Josh, Your pride and enthusiasm over an extremely well engineered and installed off grid solar system is understandable. As a master electrician who worked commercial and industrial and now solar if you ever should need to subsidize your income then consider consulting solar off grid projects as it would be a natural.
