Wow. I didn’t realize Alabama ALLOWED UGA to win. Not until the end of the clip is it mentioned that UGA beat common opponents 112-39. Not a single mention of Georgia’s defense which has been labeled as “generational”, limited Bama to 18 points and forced drives to stall in the red zone. No mention of Georgia’s walking wounded, or how their walk-on QB outplayed the five star Heisman winner. Bama is still Bama and we all know they’ll be back, but don’t go thinking the Dawgs are going anywhere else other than a championship rematch.

These injury excuses are too much. If it were Wake Forest or Pitt, who's having a good season, but their game-changer goes down with injury, we would be more willing to acknowledge how that derailed their chances. But these monster programs that are loaded with four and five-star recruits don't get the sympathy, nor do they deserve it. The Georgia's, Bamas, and Ohio States of the world are LOADED with talent. Georgia was DECIMATED with injuries all season, yet they still BULLIED everyone on their schedule en route to a national championship. Miss me with the injury cop-outs.

"but the Bama team is so young!" Other than Stetty, so was Georgia's offense. You don't get a freshman of the year like we did in Bowers unless they have a chance to shine and grow. Bama relied so heavily on its superstars that when the freshmen on the bench were asked to step up in the biggest stage, they got lead hands. That amazing touchdown by AD Mitchell? Freshman. Even on the defense, it was redshirt freshman Ringo that snatched that second interception. I have no doubt that another year of marinating under the Saban system will grow that Bama team to be the elephant in the CFB room, as always. But the youngest players sometimes have to ball out when the starters get hurt, and that is where Bama faltered a little this time around. We know that Bama can do that historically - after all, Georgia was the first victim of Tua coming off the bench!

@@ChristopherX30 well I believe I mentioned more players than just the walk on but nobody is making it to be bigger than it is … it’s a fact that he was a walk on , he wasn’t highly recruited , and even the Georgia coaches had him FIGTH STRING just two seasons ago. So it is what it is. He will never play a snap in the NFL for a reason. Even if you don’t see it. The pros see it. That said I am a huge Stetson fan and I love his story and all he has overcome. I’m proud of him and for him. I think he has done a very good job.

Where were all these excuses last year when ohio state had 13 players out with covid and then their season changing star rb got hurt on the very 1st play of the game? (Bama could've agreed to postpone a week to allow ohio state players to get off covid list but was scared but I didn't hear talked about a lot either) All I heard was bama is so much better. These injury excuses have me laughing. We were missing some key players too throughout the season and in this game. Adam Anderson (legal issues) missing and WR injuries along with other position . GP wasn't even 100%. I don't want to hear about freshman WR's playing for Bama. Last time I checked Bama recruited 4 and 5 stars. Also, I do recall two freshman from UGA scored td's in this game (Mitchell and Bowers). Bowers has been balling all year when our receivers went down. Stop with the excuses for Bama. Our defense had mad skills. I've never seen a machine like that on the field. Every game but one, they simply overmatched every offense they played. It was a memorable year for UGA. One for the history books. My only regret was that J.T. didn't get to play. SB IV was great - hats off to him - he got it done and he can run. But J.T. is a better QB hands down. The fact that we won with SB IV shows you how great the ENTIRE team was from top to bottom. SB IV is 24...call him a late bloomer if you like...but he has gotten better every year he has played. If J.T. doesn't get injured, does SB IV see the field? I don't think so. I'd really like to know what the story was on that whole situation. J.T. will obviously go to another school and play now - I hope we don't see him in the SEC.

@@jeffdaman6969 Adonai Mitchell and Ladd McConkey are both FRESHMEN (not to mention 3-star recruits) but got the 1st and 2nd most catches among the WRs this season thanks to all of the injuries at WR going back to the preseason. I will hear ZERO "buts" about Bama's injuries at WR. We ran the marathon in a cast and they got hurt at the end. Here's what Bama had on the bench behind Metchie and Williams, and this is just the guys who had catches in 2021: Traeshon Holden (Sophomore, 4-star) Ja'Corey Brooks (Freshman, 5-star) JoJo Earle (Freshman, 4-star) Javon Baker (Sophomore, 4-star) Agiye Hall (Freshman, 4-star) Thaiu Jones Bell (Sophomore, 4-star) Christian Leary (Freshman, 4-star) There is no team in America in less of a position to plead a lack of depth than Alabama.

People like Nick Saban celebrate the successes of the people they mentor. That celebration is essential to good leadership. I do not agree with underachieving in the early years of Kirby. He was still a new head coach. He was figuring himself out. Nick Saban had his figuring out time at Toledo. By the time he found who he was as a coach he was at LSU and he got an Natty.

Why didn't the 4 and 5 start receivers do better after he went down, georgia had 3 and 4 stars playing receiver and they caught game winning catches, georgia was the better team.
