@@ThatLady365 As for thought process, it's possible The United States Olympic committee left Sha' Carri Richardson off the Olympic Roster, because Athletes who've been banned prior to Sha' Carri Richardson could site bias in This case, in turn, lawsuits could pop up from years ago. However, the current guidelines need to be reviewed

alot of us have to live by this "stupid rule". I work 12hr shifts for a living and I have to follow that same rule. So sorry it's just not the athletes that have rules it's all of us and guess what happens to me if I don't adhere to them?

Agreed! They really broke it down so hopefully people get the understanding. She really needs some grief counseling to help her cope, so that she can make better decisions when faced with personal issues! I lost my Mom at an older age, but I still sought out counseling to help me work through it. I hope she can the help she needs as well!

If they research their stuff then they would know WADA let a transgender MAN taking Harmon to change his physical appearance to be a woman and run with the women in 2016 Olympic also Russia was caught in the biggest doping scandal in Olympic history using Steroid that was documented in a documentary on Netflix. Russia was still allowed to complete in 2016 not under the country name or national anthem but still allowed to receive their models by WADA. That was research because it wasn't FACTS it's opinion or BS

She's missing one, albeit large, event and you're acting like she's a horse with a broken leg that needs to be put down. @DarthMykrulus Gaming no they don’t. They only test THC. during competition periods. And the time frame for competition period is only the 24 hour period of whatever you’re competing in. If you have THC in your system out of season you won’t get popped. At all. That’s part of problem. To many ppl are having an uniformed opinions on this. And they even increased the limit for 10 nanograms to 150 nanograms.

The one thing that is really upsetting me about the reaction to this suspension is the misunderstanding of how empathy works. It is realistic to empathize with her situation and still believe the suspension is just. Just because you understand why someone made a bad decision does not mean that consequences for that decision should be erased. Lastly, drug testing organizations should NEVER be interested in why you failed a drug test unless you are appealing the accuracy of the results.

I'm glad he brought up Noah Lyles because the man has incredible sportsmanship, that I questioned of Richardson. The "Who are you" part of the statement from such a young person at the very start of her career showed immaturity. I hope she comes back far more humble for the next games. As a black man I hate living with the arrogant/boastful stereotype and some of the mainstream athletes don't help that.

So, you train your teenage years into your adult life to achieve your dream and you chose to ingest a substance that you know is against the rules? It's unfortunate that her mother passed away but that's a weak excuse. If a person turned to alcohol to cope with a personal tragedy they would be labeled as an alcoholic. People grieve differently but if you need a substance to grieve there's a bigger issue.

Our head coach was black and he followed school rules and our QB was suspended first game and had to test. Our coach than added another game because he said, he failed the team. Folks were upset with coach. He said, it is what it is…the player made his choice for himself. I made one for the team. Anyone else does it, you will receive the same.

She made a huge mistake at the wrong time in which she knew ALL THE RULES and consequences. If you were at work and didn’t something against the rules for whatever reason. Then get caught later, you will face either suspension or be fired. You knew the rules. You broke said rules.
