Take a listen to waht Nick Hipa of Wovenwar/ex-As I Lay Dying had to say as he was put on the on an episode of Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta‘s ‘The Jasta Show‘ podcast ... Nick was at the Van's Warped Tour in the summer and stumbled into the Jast Podcast ... Jamey then asked Hipa if As I Lay Dying was going to reunite ... Nick kind of went around the questiona bit .. he said they have some commitments to honor at this time... but did not say no.
There has been rumors about the band returning with vocalist Tim Lambesis now out of prison ... will Tim start the band with other memebrs..?? listen below go to the 1:05 mark of the podcast when Nick joins...

I mean, Ozzy Osbourne attempted to kill his wife and people still love the guy. I believe in second chances, not for the music, but for the sake that Lambesis will repent for his actions and show redemption in the long run. I forgive him and fully support the band in moving forward.

There is nothing more "Christian" than forgiveness. And how does one "drop the whole Christian tag" when that is what your life and your music is about? If Tim is a Born Again Christian it would be strange for him to not want that to be reflected in his music. If the band wishes to continue as secular then that's their choice just as it's Christian fan's choice to not listen. Last time I checked there are plenty of good choices for dark metalcore while there are fewer choices for good, positive metalcore.
