To my understanding, God loves everyone but not in the same way. His elect have a special love that the non-elect doesn't have. God is still compassionate and kind to the non-believers but has a Fatherly love to those who are His.

What about John 6 and 10? While what Keller says is true and accurate, nevertheless it is not simply to be inferred that not all will be saved. I thank God that He has saved me by His grace, that He chose me in Christ before the foundation of the world.

John 3 : 14 - 21 "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

If you claim to say God is unjust and unfair who are YOU to say he is unjust just and unfair , By your standards?. Man fell into sin from Adam and eve the price of sin = death . But he gave us free will and with that great gift follows the greatest possible calamities. Which again ties back to sin , every human knows right and wrong in their hearts it's called morality. And creation itself is enough to prove a creator , need more proof? Because it you expect him to come to you in a cloud when you want him too it ain't gonna happen.

That’s accurate when you study the gospels . As RC Sproul would ask, you say you’re saved ? Saved from what? And the answer ,You’re saved from God! God’s justice, God’s wrath.....Yes be afraid, be very afraid..... It’s the beginning of WISDOM!

Only in Mathew and once in Mark does he talk about it. The jews at the time would have understood about the restoration of all things, Mathew was written for the Jews. He also warned about the teachings of the Pharisees, who also were teachers of eternal torment. The argument for Eternal Torment is not so apparent as people pretend it is.

What if God is not willing that any be lost? If God is not willing that ultimately any be lost, is he not able to accomplish al that he wills? Is he like men, willing to settle for CD 5% of what he wills? Did Jesus come to rescue only a remnant, or did he come to "seek and to save THAT (I.e. all) which was lost? If you think God is prepared to settle for less than his whole desire, the Bible would beg to differ. 1 Tim 2:1-6, Isaiah 46:10.

Alright people. God is good, we know that. What is His plan for you as a believer? It is to go and tell the world the good news about His Son Jesus Christ. 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel'. Use whatever gifts you have to serve God in His Kingdom and give yourself to the reaching of the lost. That is God's ultimate purpose. Be filled with the Spirit, fight the good fight of faith, stay away from political agendas, don't get religious and do what God wants you to do. God Bless you.

As a matter of fact, it does make sense for Jesus to speak about hell frequently, even if "everyone" isn't [or doesn't] go there. For some strange reason, the Ultra-Right radical conservative "Christians" frankly assume/assert that everyone and their mothers are going to hell, have gone to hell or will go to hell... or the even more stupid and creepy notion that God created some people so that he could just throw them In Hell. He did it to describe to you - the listener - what he (The Savior) saved you from, which you would've rightfully deserved 🙂

Man, tough question to answer in 55 seconds, but its 55 seconds of truth. Strangely enough, the cliche claim of the day is that the OT is full of a wrathful God when compared to the NT. But I find as one studies the story of the Hebrew Scripture as a whole, there is far more there suggesting God is working for the possible Redemption of everyone in mind (Genesis 12:1-3). So it seems clearer and clearer that those who will receive the justice that Jesus teaches will be there by their own decision, by their own hardness of heart, by their own incapability of loving God, and by their own rejection of the Heart restoring gospel.

What you described is known in philosophy as the "Problem of evil". It tries to show the the existence of God and evil contradict one another. A Theist response to this argument is called a "theodicy". the best answer I can give you is to look at different formulations of the problem of evil and any rebuttals. I would recommend reading about Alvin Plantinga's free-will defense. Good luck.

Also, in addition to what I said, if you believe in eternal torment then why aren't you on the street begging for people to come to Jesus instead of sitting in front of your computer or phone. The person right beside you, the person in your workplace. Look they need your help!!! If you really believe in this doctrine and you really love the person that your sitting next to you you should be begging for them.

@386ABC "Weeping and gnashing of teeth is about THIS life" Christian creativity never cease to amaze me. No wonder we have hundreds of versions of christianity. If people can bend words in order to mean anything they like, then Jesus is truly the personal savior, a delusion that can be customized to suit any personal desire. All you need is faith and the assumption that the voice inside in your head is not, in fact, you.

I read that, of the 1944 verses that contain Jesus's words in the gospels, only 60 of them have anything to do with hell. That's 3%. By contrast 192 reference heaven or his coming kingdom, that's 10%. Seems to me Jesus was more concerned with our hearts and lives than with hell. The claim was that Jesus speaks more about hell than any other writer found in the texts, not that he speaks more about hell than any other topic. The point was that God himself chose to address hell more than any of his followers so clearly it's a reality.

@MrGoodNKinky It does not occur at all in the Old Testament, you might get it in some translations, but the Old testament makes a lot of mention of Sheol which is not the same thing the closest it comes to talking about some form of post death punishment is "Abaddon' but the concept of eternal torment is not really clarified until Jesus comes along, he may not talk about death more, but he does talk about it in a lot more detail. Death is different to the lake of fire

@SwordofManticorE No, that wasn't referring to your comments on hell. It was referring simply to the fact that you said Christ came only for Israel, and then cited Rom 15:8 while ignoring Rom 15:9, which speaks of the Gentiles who will be saved and glorify God for his mercy. That's what I mean by pulling verses out of context: the even the next verse disproves your point. Gen 12:3 is not what Rom 15:8 refers to. God was specifically talking to Abraham there. See Rom 3:25 for the promise

So we are crucified to the world and yet we live to God and destroy our enemies with the fire from our mouths, which fire is nothing more or less than the Word of God. I hope that explains to your satisfaction why Mat 5:22 tells us not to be angry in vain or out of vanity which I'm no being so. The verse certainly is not saying that Christ's elect are never to be angry. Matt 5:22 is saying is that Christ's elect are not to be angry out of their own vanity. You are in fear of hell, I am free.

@MrGoodNKinky You've got it backwards with regard to the ten commandments. That was the law, Christ came to accomplish the law, by finishing what the law required, (sinlessness) and also, finishing what the law required if you broke it (old testament sacrificial system), he lived the perfect life, became the unblemished lamb that would be sacrificed, became the scapegoat in which the sins were cast upon.

I think people misunderstand hell. They don’t see the intrinsic link between their actions and the consequences. Hell is the natural consequence of sin, of engagement with evil. And it’s not just in the afterlife. Sin can make a hell-on-earth real quick - both for the individual & for those in his/her life. When this world is no more, when all your earthly possessions and securities are gone, where will you find yourself? If you’ve spend your life clinging to heavenly things, when this temporal world is gone, you’ll still be clinging to heavenly things. In that day, you’ll have heaven, and you’ll have it fully because the temporal things are no more. But if you spent life clinging to temporal things, to worldly vanities and evil, these are the things you’ll be left with when the world is no more. With this world taken away, and the comforts of this world, you will be forced to face the evils you have done and the life you have wasted. That will be hell.

@Jugglable That claim also contradicts Genesis 3:7 which clearly states their eyes were opened. Which indicates an awakening of new understanding not that they already knew something before they did it. Show chapter and verse in Genesis chapter 1 or 2 that states Adam & Eve had freewill! A strong case could be made that it wasn't a Sin at all. Genesis 1:29 God said Every Tree which is the fruit of a tree for you it shall be for meat. not every tree but one!

Just because I don't believe in your make believe doesn't mean my life is meaningless. That is your own nihilism showing it's ugly face: you can't be happy unless you make what you have before you meaningless, just so you can be happy about something you're want to believe. @SwordofManticorE Paul absolutely talks about Hell in the sense that he talks about the wrath of God and his judgement of those who do not believe. Look even to Rom 2, almost the entire chapter speaks to the truth of God's judgment sending unbelievers to Hell. Verse 3: "that you will escape the judgement of God?" Verse 5: "you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgement will be revealed." Verse 8: "there will be wrath and fury." Care to explain these?

My Revelation Timeline: I just want to give you a very important key point in the book of revelation that will somehow give you another idea of the timeline for the book of Revelation. I have been a prophecy student for only nine years now and I hope this will not be a cause to ignore my different view on the timeline. I am just hoping that you would help me debunk my view and convince me that I am wrong, My intention is really to find the truth and have this truth shared to others especially during this deceptive end times. First of, here is my understanding of the Tribulation period: Jer. 30:3-7 does not say that the time of Jacob’s trouble is 7 years. The first 3.5 years was already fulfilled by Jesus Christ as described in Daniel 9:27. Through the death of Jesus, the sacrifice and offering was abolished. On the east wing of the temple, the abomination and desolation referred to here is the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Daniel 11:31,32 is where the Antichrist will appear at the Temple to desecrate it by his armies, and to set up the abomination and desolation, and this is the one that Jesus warned us of on Matthew 24:15. Jesus confirms His Holy Covenant for 1 seven, the remaining half will be in the future. In the case of the Antichrist, he will forsake and vent his fury on the Holy Covenant for 3.5 years, Daniel 11:30, his version of Daniel 9:27. Remember that Satan will counterfeit all that is prophesied in the end times to make the antichrist appear as the messiah. The 7 years of tribulation view is being promoted by Satan maybe because there will be a 3.5 years fake tribulation and a dummy antichrist. I n order that I will not somehow offend or create an uproar on this, in case, here is a biblical principle to guide us: Matthew 16:15-1715 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. Six verses after… Matthew 16:23Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.” The same mouth that glorified Jesus Christ is the same mouth that insulted Jesus Christ. Most of the time we put ourselves in Peter’s shoes. So you see, not all truths or revelation are given all to just one prophecy student. We are all vessels and channels of God’s truth and revelation depending on the nature of our heart’s desires. Let us help one another to put the puzzle pieces together as one Body of Christ. If we are searching for truth to proved that we are right, there is a certain kind of spirit that guides our understanding of scriptures. But if we are searching for the truth to gain knowledge, wisdom, and freedom, for us and for others too, then that is another kind of spirit. Now here is my take on the Half Hour Silence in Heaven which will make an entirely different view on the timeline of Revelation: 1. 1 John 2:18, Dear children, this is the LAST HOUR; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, EVEN NOW many antichrists have come. THIS IS HOW we know it is the LAST HOUR.2. Revelation 8:1,When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about HALF AN HOUR. We know that the writer of 1John and Revelation is John the Apostle. It is obvious that John holds the same understanding of what hour was to him both for the above scriptures that he revealed. So is it safe to assume that the LAST HOUR that he is telling us is 2,000 years in duration assuming that the antichrist will appear in our time? Does HALF AN Hour could mean then as 1,000 years? If so, then it could probably mean that the HALF AN HOUR silence in Heaven is the Millennium. What do you think? So with this key point, definitely the timeline will be entirely different from the popular and prevailing ones. Please bear with me as I present to you my timeline: Seals 1 to 4 begun at Ascension/Pentecost and continuous on up to the end of Seal 6, which is the great tribulation (As Jesus described that wars, death from wild animals, economic woes, famines, pestilence, earthquakes will continue on before the end). the Bowl Judgement and Armageddon happening at the end of the Great Tribulation. Rev. 6:1-8,Rev. 16:13-17 (check the similarity of the words “the island fled away and the mountains cannot be found”) Seal 5 begun from death of Stephen up to the last Saint to be martyred in the Great Tribulation. Rev. 6:9-12 Seal 7 as i explained above, begins at the start of the millennium Rev. 8. The Half Hour silence in Heaven is the millennium, a thousand year of peace on the Earthly Realm and Half Hour Peace in the Heavenly Realm. At the end of the millennium, Satan will be released from the Abyss (Rev. 20:7) to deceive the nations again. Trumpets 1 to 4 happens at the end of the millennium, it is the destruction of a third of trees, grass, sea, waters, and a third of the celestial objects are struck. Trumpet 5 is when Satan was released from the Abyss and Locust-Like Creatures torturing those who does not have the seal of God on their foreheads (entirely different from those with the mark of the beast on their foreheads which were described in the bowl judgement happening at the end of the great tribulation, while those who are sealed by God were present at the Great Tribulation and lived on through the Millennium). Trumpet 6 is Gog and Magog to kill a third of mankind, led by Satan. Ezekiel 38. The Angel and the Little Scroll Rev. 10, which is entirely different from the Scroll and the Lamb of Rev. 5, is about PROPHESYING AGAIN by the Two Witness at the end of the millennium. Probably Moses and Elijah (or Moses and Aaron, like the Exodus event again) could be them, their Spirit indwelt on the two prophet that will be anointed on that time. ( Like John the Baptist having the Spirit of Elijah) SOULS under the ALTAR, because they are still on earth/grave Rev. 6:9 (Heaven is my throne and the Earth is my footstool Isiah 66:1), is different from the SAINTS on the GOLDEN ALTAR before the Throne, because they lived on throughout the Millennium Rev. 8:3,4 The Saints will be the Royal Priesthood during the Millennium Rev. 20:6, Jesus Christ as their King. They were not judged yet but they were given authority to be Judges Rev. 20:4 (like those in the Book of Judges). The Saints will only then become kings over the nations after they received their crowns at the Great White Throne Judgement Rev. 21:24. The Two Witness, I believe are the ones who will cause all the plagues of the Trumpets Judgement at the end of the Millennium. (Like during the time of Moses, and again this time the Remnant Israel will go through it again) Rev 11:4-6 Trumpet 7 is the Great White Throne Judgement, Rev.11:15-19, Rev. 20:11-14 , the second resurrection, where the dead will be judged(sheep and goat, based on Works written in the books that were opened and on the names that were written in the Book of Life), and the saints and prophets judged for their rewards (crowns will be given to them). Judgement Seat of Christ (termed by Paul) and The Great White Throne (termed by John) is the same. Throne and Seat is the same in meaning. I placed the Resurrection of the Dead in Christ and the Rapture of the Alive in Christ in between the Sixth Bowl and the Seventh Bowl. Here are the Key Verses: Rev. 21:9 is about The New Jerusalem, the Bride, the Wife (Married already) of the Lamb (this is after the end of the Millennium, and start of the New Heaven and New Earth) 9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” (I hope we don’t have another bride in mind, like what pretribbers did to Matthew 24:29,30, making it the second rapture/resurrection, which they say is still an integral part of the first resurrection of Rev. 20. Jesus will get His Bride one time only, not several times) Question:Why does it have to be ONE OF THE SEVEN ANGELS WHO HAD THE SEVEN BOWLS, be the one appointed by Jesus to show to John the Bride? Why not one of the seven angels who had the trumpets, or Michael, or Gabriel, or any other Angels? Answer:Checkout Rev. 16:12-1512 THE SIXTH ANGEL POUR OUT HIS BOWL on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. 13 Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. 15 Behold (look) I (Jesus) come as a THIEF (to snatch and steal away)! BLESSED is the ONE (Bride) who stays awake (watching) and remains clothed (OIL/HOLY SPIRIT), so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.” Matthew 22 To make the above more logically valid, here is another scriptures to back it up: Rev. 16:17-1917 The SEVENTH ANGEL poured out his BOWL into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” 18 Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. 19 The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered BABYLON THE GREAT and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. Rev. 17:117 ONE of the SEVEN ANGELS who had the SEVEN BOWLS came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the GREAT PROSTITUTE, who sits by many waters. Conclusion: These two Angels are witnesses to the most significant thing that had happen to the Bride and the Prostitute, simultaneously. Please study who is the Bride. Make a comparison on the description of the 144,000 as the Bride and as Virgins in its natural and spiritual sense, then the description of the New Jerusalem in its sense of 12’s, it is very Israel, the real Jews who are of the circumcision of the heart, not of the flesh. Study also who are the Wedding Guests (Great Multitudes) and who are the Nations (the Sheep) that will be ruled by the kings (Saints) in the New Heaven and New Earth. The Book of Revelation is the story of God’s plan of salvation, grace, and justice to humanity in the end times and through eternity. This is where we can truly see the big picture. Match it with Jesus Christ’s Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24. Then the 10 Virgins (144,000/Tribulation Saints?), the Talents of the Servants (Wedding Guests/Dead in Christ?), The Sheep and the Goats (Risen Dead judged, some saved, some thrown in the lake of fire, in the White Throne Judgement/The Nations in New Heaven and New Earth?) in Matthew 25. I hope this one makes sense to you, though this one is one new and radical view of eschatology, and I have not encountered of anything like this through my searches in so many prophecy websites I visited. I would appreciate your comment and more importantly, your loving correction of this view. Y our Brother In Christ, Eaglet

So, have Jesus' words passed away because there is no longer a garbage dump in the valley of Hinnom? He was therefore using the contemporary metaphor for the place of ultimate condemnation. Meet Jesus.

@SwordofManticorE eh my comments got out of order somehow, oh well. Yes, Romans 9:16! thats absolutely correct!! I agree completely with that. Why are you quoting it to me? That actually proves my point...we are saved by grace alone! Your God is blindingly merciful, without a sense of justice, and I would not worship him. I take into account the holistic view of God in the Bible, and I seek to understand all of his attributes, not just to pick and choose the ones that I like the most.

Indeed Jesus teaches about punishment and wrath more than anyone. However what is the nature of this punishment. Mt 25 says it is kolasis (restorative) and not timoria (purely retributive). Secondly hell is not found anywhere in the Bible but is a poor translation of at least 4 different words (Sheol/Hades, Gehenna, Tartarus,) and is incorrectly linked to the Lake of Fire in Revelation. God is Love (not love but...) and His wrath is a manifestation of his Love for all creation. His wrath is directed against the Sin that distorts and destroys His Good creation and will ultimately eradicate it. Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the Sin of the World. Believe the Gospel and follow Jesus. Colossians 1v15-20

@MrGoodNKinky Where did you get the idea that I said it is ok to do those things now? It's definitely not ok. Just because we have the forgiveness of sin through the cross does not mean we can continue sinning. That's why Paul writes "what shall we say then, Shall we go on sinning so that grace may Increase? By no means!" If we do a crime (ones that our societal laws prescribe) we should man up and do the sentence. I never said that you can get away with it.

Tim, than maybe you have an answer for this question. These verses you use to say that Christ spoke more about hell (Gehenna) than He did heaven to the Jews, thats right he spoke about Gehenna to the Jews alone, so my question is this. Why didnt the apostel Paul warn the gentiles about the judgement of Gehenna? Acts 20:27 says Paul taught us all what God wants us to know, but why didnt he warn the gentiles about the fires of Gehenna? I know why, I just want to hear your responce.

Yhea i totally understand. but One our good deeds will never outweigh our bad deeds. Second a common misunderstanding is God chooses good people, because no human is inherently good. A common misconception is what separates you and me from God is goodness and badness. No it's spiritual deadness. Christ did not come to make bad people good, he came to make dead people live. Third, it's easy to get caught up in the idea of hell. Don't forget the Resurrection what was done on the cross.

It is impossible - as he said - to be an apostle of atheism, because it is not a belief. My principles are not a faith. We need no outside force to rely on - it is liberating to take responsibility for everything you have and do, and to not, ever, blame anyone for anything. Bye now. @MrGoodNKinky He did do something! That's the point of the Gospel! First let's do the analogy of why God does what he does. If he is the judge, and is also perfect, loving, righteous and Holy, how would he judge us? If we all did the crime, is he not just in saying that we do the time? (yes, of course) which would therefore mean that he would be unjust if he let people go even though they were guilty correct? So, the verdict is, none of us actually deserve anything good in the first place.

"..Esau have I hated." (Rom 9:13) While it is true that the MAJORITY of professing Christendom would have you believe that this verse means "Esau I loved too," it is likewise abundantly clear from the context that this interpretation makes no sense. Who would accuse God of unrighteousness because he loved them both? (Rom 9:14) Such an interpretation may go over well at the local Mega-church, but it is an illogical mishandling of the word of God.

@MrGoodNKinky I never said with regard to Jesus' atoning for our sins that it would exempt us from paying for our crimes here on earth. The bible says that you don't have to take responsibility and just pass it to Jesus, no you have to take responsibility, do what you have to do here on earth and turn from your sins. It would be cowardly if you did the crime and thought that you can just walk.

@stinny777 We can know what God has revealed to us in the Scriptures and creation. The scriptures do show us Gods character and that He is Holy, and the scriptures show us that we were made in Gods image but at the fall we became separated from God. And yes i am saying that He is extremely wise and therefore infinitely more suitable to make judgements on fallen sinful humans. But He is also slow to anger and merciful and has provided a way for us to be reconciled to Him through faith in His Son

I should have said that God does hate the sinner but kinda feel sorry for them. God is Holy and will HATE sin and sinners but He is also compassionate too. If you want to get scripture involved then Ezekiel 18:32 comes to mind, showing God's compassion for the wicked and also 1 Timothy 2:3-4. I'm still being taught by the Holy Spirit about this, it's all a bit confusing to me right now.

@Cousinsjay What does 3000 years have to do with whether God 'wrote' it or not? I think to load Timothy Keller with the presupposition that he thinks that the Bible was written by God 3000 years ago is false. The Bible was divinely inspired by God, written by men living in a particular historical and geographical context over a large number of years. Timothy Keller, as a Christian, declares that he has necessary information given by God to save him. What is feeble about that?

Carl Moore - ARE YOU SAVED??? Please examine yourself if you are saved or not! Did you know that Heaven is a free gift from God? Billions of people go to bed every night wondering if they have been “good enough” to go to heaven. There is no need to live in fear and doubt. Jesus taught that you can “know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” There are many passages in the Bible that teach the truth about Heaven being a free gift from God because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, not by our own good works. One of the most clear and important passages is from the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Ephesians: Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Most people think that Heaven is a riddle which can never be solved. This is not true! The Bible is very clear about how you get to Heaven, and how it comes by faith in Jesus Christ, not by trusting in our own good works. We are living in the dispensation of the grace of God, by believing and trusting the gospel of salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) given to our Apostle Paul by Jesus Christ you are saved and sealed with the holy Spirit of promise till the day of redemption!!! Ephesians 1:13 - King James Version 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Romans 2:16 - King James Version 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Paul's Gospel - 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 1-4). For solid Bible study, please visit ''Truth Time Radio'' - also on youtube - learn the truth and unlearn the lies!

@DNGUYEN88 So out of his LOVE and GRACE he did something. So basically, in THIS life, it's not going to be rainbows and butterflies, we have all sinned. BUT he promised us that through the Cross we would be made righteous and holy when we stand before God. That at that point, there will be no more death, tears, suffering. Anyways, I can't say all I can say here since there's not enough space, and I don't want you reading too much. You are however, not informed of our theology enough though.

This is just a misunderstanding of scripture. Sin is it’s own punishment. When you lie, steal, betray etc... you are living in Gehenna, or hades, or Sheol. The word hell in not used. Jesus came to teach us how to live, not how to die or what happens to us when we die. To be saved is one who has figured out Jesus’ message, which is if you love God and love your neighbor you will not lie, steal or betray and then you will be happy or saved. So no, not everyone is saved. But then again there is no eternal punishment in hell after we die either. We will ALL meld in with the creator after we die. God is certainly not an eternal torturer. How anyone can believe that is beyond me. It’s crazy to think that decisions we make for X number of years on this planet could possibly have dire consequences that would last billions of years in the future. And vice versa as well. Heaven and Hell are now, in this life. You decide which one to live in. Now go and sin no more.
