I don't know if I'm the only one, but i actually think his style is sick!!! I can't believe he's still skating!! I used to watch vids of him back in 2009, and I thought he had a very insipid style, but looking at him now, I have to say from what he was, his style has improved in a way I would've never seen coming, to the point where I think it's actually really cool! He is tech as fuck bro but I gotta agree, even when I first saw him when Lamont was introducing his team, he doesn't get much air. Which is fine, lots of pros don't have high ollies but these seem lower than usual and like he relies on curbs/stairs to get the air needed for the triple flips. Once again thats all fine and dandy, he's sick af but that may be what is keeping him from getting promoted to pro, he should try competing.

Bro this dude literally does the hardest tricks. I watch him just to see tricks I cant even do in video games. Even his manual tricks are next level. Sure I love watching dudes with silky smooth styles, but nobody can deny the talent this guy has. He’s not faking his style, and he’s consistently throwing out crazy tricks. That alone is gnarly as hell to me.

Someone pointed out that the reason he gets so much hate is they think he's showing off by doing all the insane flip tricks (triple flips, 360 hards, ect.). Actually I'm pretty sure dude just skates for fun. Also even if doesn't pop that much he always sticks the landing clean

I’m so late to this video lol. I used to watch this guy, he’s an amazing skater. I just feel his style, not clothing but trick wise it’s awkward. It looks like he has little to no board control which he does have bc of how consistent he is. I know dudes got connections he’s put out numerous parts out and all insane! I think it’ll just be one of those things where he just needs to be in the right place at the right time.

yeah other than style, he's a really good skater. A bunch of his tricks look nice too, I just think his double flip tricks that go down the stairsets aren't that pleasing to see and that's one of his skating aspects that's easy for people to hate on.

Jeff doesnt skate like everybody else and I think that's not only okay, but awesome. He also does shit nobody does. Like who the hell manuals off of roofs. Or single, double, triple flip down big stairs in a line. You just don't see that anywhere else. There's room for all kinds of skating and I think what he's doing is very unique.

I don't think the problem is skills, but definitely style. I can see he doesn't have that steez you know, some dudes can't do half of the tricks he does, but can do a hella steezy tre down 10 or flip tricks with that style you know. Still he's a great skateboarder gotta admit !

I have never thought adding more spins or flips to a trick makes it that much more fun to watch. Id rather see a really smooth and steezy kick flip or Tre than a double or triple or 720 flip. But that is my opinion, not making a judgment about this guys ability or what he deserves.

Just my honest opinion... Probably not. People get turned off by the same 15 tricks down gaps. He flicks and pops his tricks like his style is in its adolescents. Skateboarders have slowly turned toward style rather than difficulty just because we are numb to insane tricks and great style is harder to come across, companies know this. The guy really has an insane bag of tricks but I don't see him going pro. Most companies prioritize how skaters look doing tricks as opposed to the actual tricks they are doing. Style and pop are very important at the pro level. He is good though. If being pro were based on the list of tricks you can do he would be pro already.

I think the main reason it seems like everyone has a problem with Jeff's style is because it's the single main oddity of most videos that he's in. People on the internet love to give their input no matter how many times its already been posted. So when you see all these comments saying the same thing, its just individuals stating the obvious to be included. Maybe to feel smart, maybe its like when 15 people write "first" after a video comes out. Chances are the people that have a really big problem with it are people that had a minor problem with it and then read comments which made it a bigger deal than it really is to them. A lot of people also state the obvious to get likes. I think most companies worth being sponsored by (the ones not just for money) would really like the uniqueness of his skating.

A lot style stuff is i guess cuz he doesnt pop much so some of the trick just seem to immediately start falling and spin as they fall. But maybe they are difficult and crazy that thats the only way they can be done. If thats the case, then its a conscious choice and thats the tradeoff for doing those tricks.

I don't understand why people think a skater doing nollie 360 inward heels every try shouldn't be pro, He definitely should be pro, People don't understand that his skill level is beyond the majority of professional skaters, 360 hardflips aren't easy, at all. He effortlessly does them & people think it looks like a pressure flip, but he's actually flicking the board & actually doing 360 hardflips way before it has ever been considered a normal trick to do, it's not even a normal trick for skaters in 2019, How long will it take for professionals to get on his level??

I don’t think he’s pro material. Doing ugly flip tricks off stairs with no pop isn’t going to get his name on a board. Not hating here, just pointing out what I see. Get him on some ledges, rails, maybe even some transition... he’s got a long road ahead in order to be called a professional skateboarder.
