@@ashley_brown6106 We have an unbroken tradition back to Moses, and Moses never interpreted things like your Gentile interpretation. Why would we need a Gentile, who doesn't even know Hebrew, tell us about the Torah tradition that we have been studying devotedly day and night for more than 3,000 years? It's like a very uneducated person coming to lecture great scientists. It's kind of pitiful humor.

You never really understood the Torah and the prophets then. Jesus had always been used by God to save the Israelites of Old. Jesus as the pre-incarnate Angel of the Lord, also known as the Angel of God and the Angel of his Presence have the name of God in him, which makes him God. Someone who has authority over Life and death, even this admitted in the Hebrew Talmud(Yeshua raised the dead to life and created a Life bird from clay), cannot be judged. He is the Judge. People need to understand the Torah and the prophets very well. Exodus 23:20-21 [20]“Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. [21]Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him. Exodus 23:22 [22]But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. Look at Exodus 23 carefully. God is telling us in this statement, that angel who has his name in him wields his authority and would not pardon transgressors of sin. That means he can take Life. "Obey his voice and do all that I speak" God is telling us here that obeying this Angels voice is pretty much obeying God himself. This Angel is the Jesus. So, if Jesus tells you he and the father is One, he's not wrong. If he tells you when you see me you've seen the father he's not wrong. They're right there in the scriptures. Jesus as one with the name of God is God in the flesh. Isaiah 63:7-10 [7]I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord And the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, According to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses. [8]For He said, “Surely they are My people, Children who will not lie.” So He became their Savior. [9]In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old. [10]But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them. Isaiah 63:11 [11]Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying: “Where is He who brought them up out of the sea With the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them, The one who's been used by God to save the Israelis of Old is The Angel of his Presence, the pre-incarnate Jesus. God uses him as saviour and redeemer. Because he bears the name of God when used by God to save, he God himself is saving. This also answers your Holy Spirit question. So, we have God, the Angel of his Presence ( Jesus) and his Holy Spirit all working together to redeem the Israelites of Old. There's your Trinity. These are all there in the scriptures. That's why God calls him my servant whom I am delighted in, in Isaiah 53. If God was to redeem humanity from sin, this same Angel of the Lord, the Angel of God, the Angel of his Presence was going to be used to save. This character is Jesus pre-incarnate. And this character is also God.

I remember as a little kid (raised Christian) desperately praying I'd die before age 10 because we were taught that very little children aren't sent to Hell, but once you reach the age of criminal responsibility all bets are off. The doctrine of Hell put a massive stumbling block in the way of my relationship with God, because, really, how can I accept what I'm being told about a loving God when he by default wants to set me on fire for all eternity and I don't get to find out if he relented in that or not until after I die? Then as an adult Christian, I just went full on 'No, I don't accept what I've been taught about Hell as the truth, it just does not accord with what I know of God'. Which is heresy, because in Christianity, it's a sin to disagree. Abandoning Christianity was really the only way forward, because you're told to just accept so many things that just don't make sense and you're not supposed to question. I can't have a relationship with a God that sends most people to eternal hellfire, I frankly just don't want to, and luckily I don't anymore

@@coffeemaenad7455 You mean the same God that made life on Hell for the Jews because they broke his Covenant? Jews have been persecuted for thousands of years. 6 million Jews died in the second world war. Is it not the same God? Jews were exiled abroad from their land and suffered countless persecution. Was it not the same God? If God could do this to the Jews, his once chosen, imagine what he'll do to someone like you who rejects his "arm of salvation" that'll protect you from suffering worse than the Jews did in this Life and the next. Anyway God already moved on from the Sinai Covenant, Judaism, the moment he mentioned about a New Covenant in Jeremiah 31:31. You follow a dead religion that have no relation with God and haven't heard from him for over 2 thousand years. A religion that saved no one but brought misery and suffering to its adherents. A religion that didn't bestow Righteousness on even 1 individual.

@Sarah Shea What an interesting background. I know exactly what you mean ... Christianity adapted to paganism and it doesn't take much research to realize it. Hellenistic through and through. 150 yrs after the death of Jesus, converted Jews abandoned Christianity. So the pagan became the target. At least they got it down to 3 gods, then again that's very typical in Greco Roman world. I agree Christianity is exclusive. Judaism is inclusive. It doesn't mean you have to be Jewish, it means you have to be a moral person. What you hate don't do to another. No one is going to convict you, convince you, coerce you or convert you. That's not the agenda. Jews are the light unto the world. People are drawn to "light". They don't have to knock on people's door ... they don't have to corner someone and preach their "good news". If that person decides its not for them... then that person just sent him or herself to hell and it's their own fault. You know who else says stuff like this? Used car salesmen lol So you don't want this great bargain? You'll never get an offer like this again. You're going to be sorry you didn't buy this car. I could have saved you a ton of money. Oh so you're going to the other car lot? They will screw you over, trust me. You get the picture. I'm glad you found your Jewish roots. Taking that leap over the fire pit was the last thing I had to do on my way out of Christianity over ten years ago. I wrote a whole chapter about how I overcame this fear in my "yet to be published" book about it. You'll laugh when you read it. I just posted the chapter in my memoir writing group to rave reviews and I hope you'll be reviewing it one day. I was very alone with this at the time. There was no facebook. There were no youtube videos about it. No one was talking about it, I had no one to ask. I was all over the web trying to find out if I was going crazy. One day I stumbled upon that one elusive video of yours that made it possible to leave. It was the servant video over ten years(?) ago. I don't even remember how I found it because it was in yahoo, a chat room maybe? something that's no longer around. Even after finding out he wasn't the servant, I still had to overcome this last fear all by myself.

It wasn't until I began studying it from a Jewish perspective that I came to see how far removed basic Christian theology is from the mindset of the Torah. The trinity? A god-man? @John Smith We believe Jesus was a mighty prophet of God just like prophet Moses, prophet Mohammad and the rest of the prophets may peace and blessings are upon them all. We also believe that Jesus(PBUH) will return for his mission is not yet complete. On another hand most Christian believe Jesus was the son of God who died for human sins---that is the dictionary definition of paganism.

@John Smith Kabba was built by prophet Ibrahim and prophet Ishmail and no we Muslims do not worship Kabba...it is just a direction for our prayer...Kabba was destroyed few times and as an end, the time prophecy has it will be destroyed. Thousands of years after prophet Ibrahim build Kabba it was turned into Paganism just as msg and preach of prophet Jesus(PBUH) turn into paganism of trinity in The Council of Nicaea. I listen to Rabbi Singer bc he is a scholar....Rabbi Singer made me realize how much commonality we Muslims have with our Jewish brothers and sisters when it comes to the concept of God as opposed to our Christian brothers and sisters. I do not listen to him bc he is against Christianity or that he denies prophets Jesus(PBUH). Nonetheless, our Jewish brothers and sister will be in a lot of surprises when prophet Jesus(PBUH) returns...for Jesus's mission is not complete.

No he's the darkness. Our way back through our redeemer that was denied.. In which case we may deny our self his salvation but hopefully come to understanding.. He is Holy and he does always do what he promises but when he severs a bind there is always a process that leads back if our hearts allow us to understand and seek him in Love and in truth thus abiding in his ways in our new union through our redeemer. Yehsua is that redeemer to the Father.

One of the problems with Christianity is that most Christian Sunday sermons are either solely about the New Testament or are Joel Osteen style sermons that have very little to do with either the New or Old Testament. Most of Joel Osteen’s sermons resemble improved motivational speaker Tony Robbins type lectures on how to be successful in life. Deuteronomy 4:2 basically says not to substitute other Joel Osteen type material for the Old Testament that supports Christianity’s adulterous, idolatrous worship of idols, money & financial success. The reason the Old Testament is so important is that the Old Testament is more or less a history book of the human race. And if you don’t learn from history, you are doomed to repeat the same mistakes you have made in the past. The main problem with the New Testament is that in terms of a history book, it only goes back to the time of JC. The New Testament just doesn’t cover a very long time period. The Old Testament goes back to creation of the universe and covers a much larger time frame. -

God alone determines who goes to Hell. That fact, of itself, will not halt the fear-mongering over non-compliance with a given belief system. I will never understand why the default position of the religious zealot is fear and suffering when Life itself has sufficient amounts of these conditions.

The New Testament barely says anything about, & maybe almost always doesn't use the language, of a Hell. It's usually the language of "death." In almost every passage, it reads as saying you'll just be dead. No afterlife. "The wages of sin" isn't Hell, it's "death." Eternal life in torment is not death. It's just a perpetually horrific, unending life. Just nitpicking, but this has always bothered me.

Do people really think Jesus interpreted the Torah as implying trinitarianism? If he was a faithful Jew, he knew that God is not a man and a man is not God. If he was not a faithful Jew, he certainly was not a candidate for the Jewish messiah. The first recorded mention of the doctrine of a trinity was by Tertullian (a non-Jew), who was born around 150-160 CE. He defended his theology against Praxeas (another non-Jew), although he noted that the majority of the believers in his day found issue with his doctrine. The concept of a trinity can be seen as developing significantly during the first four centuries by the Church Fathers in reaction to other non-Jewish theological interpretations. I know this might be challenging for people if they have been indoctrinated since they were a child, or if they just don't think they're allowed to use their God given rational mind to help guide their life.

Anyone who accepts upon himself the fulfillment of the seven Noahide commandments and is precise in their observance is considered one of 'the pious among the gentiles' and will merit a share in the world to come. This applies only when he accepts them and fulfills them because the Holy One, blessed be He, commanded them in the Torah and informed us through Moses, our teacher, that Noah's descendants had been commanded to fulfill them previously (Maimonides, Laws of Kings 8:11).

"hell" is separation from the eternal we are born into as seed of Adam. We are not given Eden with the tree of life because we have nothing but perfect Torah and Messiah to reconnect through (like the high priest atoning for our sin on Yom Kippur). Adam was the first death in Torah ..."on the day you eat from it you are doomed to die" Genesis 2: 16-17. Hell is synonymous with Adam being doomed to death. You can find the eternal while physically alive but if you do not you are locked into Adam's death and will remain there until death and hell are destroyed.

Jesus predicted the destruction of the temple(Matthew24:2), and that the gospel would be proclaimed throughout the world(Matthew24:14) _before_ it happened and both verifiable. Infact the New Testament sets itself up for failure by stating that if Christ was a false prophet christianity would fade into obscurity as Gamaliel tells the Jewish council(Acts5:38-39). [Time 4:38] Only God can control the weather. Indeed which is why the disciples ask each other the following when Christ stills the storm; Mark4:41 And they were filled with great awe and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

Gen:49:10 10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. This verse foretell the coming of Yah's anointed king David 1 Samuel 16:12-13 And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. 13Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. All of verses mentioned in the book of Isaiah the servant is David and Israel. In Isaiah 7:13-14 has nothing to do with JC...14Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. 16For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings. This is a prophecy about King Ahaz, Pekah the king of Israel and Rezin the king of Syria..Isaiah 7:8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people. 9And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established. 2 Kings 15:30 And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah. 2 Kings 16:9 And the king of Assyria hearkened unto him: for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin. So you see the prophecy of Isaiah 7:14 was fulfilled when Pekah the king of Israel and Rezin the king of Syria died. In the verse of Isaiah 7:14 the word for virgin could also mean young woman. All of the prophets of the Holy Scriptures OT are talking about David and Israel not JC..his name is not even mentioned anywhere in Holy Scriptures OT...1 Samuel 17:12 Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehemjudah, whose name was Jesse; and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Ezekiel 34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. 24And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. Isaiah 55:3-4 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. 4Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. Psalms 89:3, 19-21 have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 19Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people. 20I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: 21With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. Christianity is not the new covenant and JC is not the fulfillment of law...in Jeremiah 31:31-34 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. JC can not save or redeem a man's soul nor can he die for sins of others Moses tried to give his life for atonement of the great sin Israel transgressed by making and worshipping a golden calf. Listen to what Yah told him in Exodus 32-30-35 30And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin. 31And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. 32Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. 33And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. 34Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them. 35And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made That's one witness Ezekiel 18:19-20 19Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. 20The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. That's two witnesses...and one more Psalms 49:7-9 7None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: 8(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) 9That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption. I once thought as you do now..that JC was a savior or a Redeemer and died for my sins. I now know better..and you now do too. Yah made it very clear HE will not give HIS glory to another.. Isaiah 42:8 8I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Isaiah 43:3 3For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Isaiah 43:11 11I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. Serve and worship YAH TMH and HIM only should you serve and worship. To worship anything else is a great sin

From Genesis to Revelation it says the same thing, because God doesn’t change his words. As for you also because of the Blood of My covenant with you, I have set your prisoners Free from the waterless pit. Zechariah 9:11 waterless pit or hell whatever we name it, one thing is sure; there will be no rain no mercy of God. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the alter to make atonement for your souls; FOR IT IS THE BLOOD BY REASON OF THE LIFE THAT MAKES ATONEMENT. Leviticus 17:11 Find the anointed One, the Holy One of Israel, who is God! He is all over the Tanakh. Do homage to the son, that He not become angry and you perish in the way for his wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! Psalms 2:12 Rather you r perished or take refuge in Him, is up to the blood of anointed One, the Holy One of Israel, the Redeemer anf Savior, which is God. But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from ONE will go forth for ME to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity Micah 5:2 Who was from the eternity? the Holy One, the ruler from the days of eternity. This is God which is the Messiah of Israel, which is from the tribe of Judah. This Immanuel will be born to us (to Judah/Israel), a son will be given to us and the government will rest on His shoulders and His name will be called wonderful counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of peace. Isaiah 9:6 This son is the Eternal Father, our Mighty God of Israel! For your sale do not say like Rabbi Tovia that son and servant is always meant to be Israel. If you say so you are basically saying that Israel will save ourselves. Fo not repeat the same history. You need your promised Messiah. So distinguish between sons of Israel and the son Messiah who is Mighty God. Then after the sixty two weeks the anointed One (Messiah) will be cut off and have nothing and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Daniel 9:26 Find your Messiah who was before the destruction of sanctuary! Find the blood of God‘s covenant. Then let the world know who is the Messiah of Israel because your Messiah is the Messiah of the whole nations! And you, Israel, you are the priestly nation! Test everything and search for the Holy anointed One.

Liberation is liberation from sin. The Burden of all the sins of the the world was born upon the cross by The Lord Jesus Christ. Anyone who places the burden of sin upon a sinner to be saved is proffering a false gospel of self righteousness. Jesus paid it all, and he died in our place, taking the punishment we deserve. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ’s best through (repentance) belief and Faith (trust). God will not save anyone trying to be saved by their own actions (works). God will only save those who know they need a savior, and are trusting in him to be saved. The only requirement to be saved; is to admit you are a guilty sinner in Gods sight (Romans 3:19-26) and to turn to Jesus Christ in Faith trusting in his death burial and resurrection Romans 10:9-13) You as an ungodly sinner to be saved. No one has ever been saved except the ungodly (Romans 4:5-8) God does not save the self righteous, who who are going about attempting to establish their own righteousness. (Matthew 7:21-23) we can only be saved by Gods righteousness which is through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:9 says And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that righteousness which is of faith, through the risen Lord Christ Jesus who give me his righteousness, for I have none save his. “Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:3-8‬ ‭KJV

From Ezekiel 18, it is very clear that all will die, since there cannot possibly be a man that can keep each and every command and statute through-out his life. Only God is capable to keep each and every Law and statute. Jewish faith requires sacrifice of a lamb or a goat or an animal to become kosher temporarily. Therefore sacrifice had to be repeated. I know of no man who lived and not died. Ezekiel 18 is true. However I know of one man that was prophesied, with the ability of God to keep all commands and statutes during his ministery. When he died, it was an unfair death, therefore He had to rise, since he has not sinned. When Jesus rose from death, he paid the price not only like a repeatable sacrifice, but eternal sacrifice, because in eternity He was holy and for eternity, His sacrifice is accepted. Isaiah 53 prophesied this cleansing and healing for man's inequity. If you don't believe it, then you don't accept it either. The old Testemant is true, but was only written up from Moses towards Malachi. Many prophets prophesied Jesus. Messiah Ben Joseph had to come first, then Messiah Ben David will come. Zec 12 I will pour the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they will look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Rabbi Singer. I hope you sing for joy and don't have to cry. Jesus had to die so that Zec 12 could be fulfilled. For the Jewish man to reject Jesus, is for the gentile man to be saved. But note the time has come for the Jewish man to accept Messiah Ben Joseph, so that Messiah Ben David can come. Moses prophesied of a New Prophet to come like Moses(who could speak directly to God) but he could not tolerate the great fire, lest he would die. When this great Prophet was born, this great fire was not present anymore as prophesied, and Jesus could freely speak without anyone dying. This is the great mystery of Jesus. God is not fleshly, but spirit, but he can do all things, even raise an example of Himself in the flesh so that no-one has to die, not before or after His birth. His mystery is an eternal mystery. You will be judged according to the light you have received. So if you know of Jesus, you will be held accountable according to what has been revealed to you.

@Walking The-Talk: The "New Testament" is NOT scripture that was given to mankind by God. The ONLY scripture that God ever gave to mankind, are the Hebrew scriptures given to Moses at Mt. Sinai, and NOWHERE did He tell us to expect a SECOND SET (i.e. NT) of scriptures. When God gave us those scriptures, He specifically told us that they are ETERNAL (i.e. STILL in effect and binding TODAY - a LIVING document!) and that we are NOT to follow ANY other teaching than what is in those Hebrew scriptures. Christianity IS another teaching, that preaches AGAINST what God actually said to us at Mt. Sinai, therefore we are NOT to follow what it teaches - God's orders!! Christianity REFUSED to study the original Hebrew in which God gave us His ETERNAL words, leaving them in profound DARKNESS about what God ACTUALLY said to us, resulting in the twisted, mistranslated, taken out of context, bastardized, "Old Testament", which is only a corrupted VERSION of what God actually said to us! Then, to add insult to injury, they fabricated their OWN false, pagan, anti-God, anti-Jewish, hate-filled, replacement theology "New Testament", stuck it to the "Old Testament" and called the whole mess, the "Holy Bible"! THAT'S where the Orthodox Jewish rabbis come in - they have been studying the original Hebrew all the way back to Mt. Sinai, and, in the absence of the Temple, God specifically tasked these extremely learned men, with interpreting the Hebrew scriptures for us. God ABHORS human sacrifice (a purely PAGAN ritual!), therefore the 'Jesus dying on a cross for people's sins' narrative just DID NOT happen! Christianity has been outright LYING to us for thousands of years and is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on mankind. PLEASE do the research on how Christianity started, and you WILL discover that it absolutely DID NOT come from God.

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 Jews who do not accept Jesus as their Messiah obviously have to find a way to explain away the Christian interpretation of a number of classical messianic passages. Their strategy tends to be to not consider the evidence for messianic prophecy as a whole, but to refute each Christian interpretation one at a time. Of course, Isaiah 9:1-7 is an example of this. As you know, this passage describes how God, who had humbled Zebulun and Naphtli (the part of Galilee immediately West of the lake where Jesus was raised) would, in future, honor Galilee. God continues to describe a child who will be born who will receive the government on his shoulders and who will be known as Wonderful Counselor, Might God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace, telling us that this child from Galilee will reign on David’s throne. Remember that the job of the Jew is to refute claims that this is a reference to the Messiah. Yet, what passage in the Old Testament could more obviously be seen to be Messianic? It is true that the name Hezekiah means “one empowered by God”. However, it does NOT mean Mighty God. In fact, the claim that his name means mighty God is a bit of a stretch. Can you imagine a Jewish person having as his name “mighty God”? That would border on blasphemy! In fact the Hebrew in Isaiah 9:6 is literally mighty (gibbowr) God (el). This prophecy is about a child born in Galilee who will take the throne, who will be a Prince of Peace, the Everlasting Father, the Mighty Counselor and the Mighty God. Could this be applied to Hezekiah? Perhaps, but it would require a great deal of stretching of the passage. First of all, he certainly did not come from Galilee. He certainly did not honor Zebulun or Naphtali. He was not called any of the four things in Isaiah 9:6, nor do any of them fit him as well as they fit Jesus, who did come from Galilee, who did come as a king. Could Hezekiah be describe as a Prince of Peace? No way! He fought in many wars. Could Jesus be described as a Prince of Peace? The answer is rather obvious. The interpretation you have read of Isaiah 9 is coming from a person who is reading his preconception into the passage rather than reading it our of the passage. Given what we know of Jesus and what we know of Hezekiah it becomes rather obvious that this is a highly biased interpretation. As to his application of Isaiah 37 as fulfillment of Isaiah 9:1-7, in what sense is the saving of Judah and Jerusalem in 705 BC a fulfillment of a child from Galilee being called a Prince of Peace or Everlasting Father. Really…. Does the destruction of Sennacherib’s army fit the description of Isaiah 9:1-7? Personally I see absolutely NO parallel between these passages. On the other hand, the parallel between Isaiah 9:1-7 and the person we know as Jesus of Nazareth is stunning. This author is trying to use John 10::34 to prove that in Isaiah 9:6, with its use of the phrase Mighty God is actually talking about a powerful person. Really…. What does John 10:34 have to do with Isaiah 9:6? In John 10:34 Jesus is claiming to be God. He is using Psalm 82:6 as a kind of sarcastic challenge to the Jews who want to reject his claim to be God. How a person can use this passage to “prove” that the “Mighty God” reference is to a powerful leader rather than God is beyond me. I think we can fairly dismiss this interpretation! The claim that a prophecy of a child who will be born-a child who will honor Galilee of the Gentiles-a child who will be Prince of Peace and Mighty God applies better to Hezekiah than it does to Jesus is to prove that one is extremely biased and presuppositional in approach-assuming the answer before asking the question. This is how I see it. Remember that it is the entire case which should be considered. We should not be intimidated into only considering one passage at a time. The case for Jesus being the fulfillment of the well-known (even to the Jews) messianic prophecies is strong indeed. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey (Zech 9:9), he was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:12), he was born in Bethlehem Ephrethah (Micah 5:2), he was pierced in his hands and his feet (Psalms 22:16), he was despised and rejected (Isaiah 53:3) and pierced (Isaiah 53:5), he came to Jerusalem to be anointed Messiah in about AD 30 (Daniel 9:25) and many more. It is the overall case, not an effort to explain away any one passage which establishes beyond all reasonable doubt that the messianic passages point to Jesus of Nazareth, about whom each of these passages fits with mind boggling precision.

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 1. Jesus has two natures - He is God and man. 2. Each nature is full and complete - He is fully God and fully man. 3. Each nature remains distinct. 4. Christ is only one Person. 5. Things that are true of only one nature are nonetheless true of the Person of Christ. A proper understanding of these truths clears up much confusion and many difficulties we may have in our mind. How can Jesus be both God and man? Why doesn’t this make him two people? How does his Incarnation relate to the Trinity? How could Jesus have hungered (Matthew 4:2) and died (Mark 15:37) when he was on earth, and yet still be God? Did Jesus give up any of his divine attributes in the Incarnation? Why is it inaccurate to say that Jesus is a “part” of God? Is Jesus still human now, and does he still have his human body? Jesus has two natures - God and man The first truth we need to understand is that Jesus is one Person who has two natures: a divine nature and a human nature. In other words, Jesus is both God and man. We will look at each nature accordingly. Jesus Is God The Bible teaches that Jesus is not merely someone who is a lot like God, or someone who has a very close walk with God. Rather, Jesus is the Most High God himself. Titus 2:13 says that as Christians we are “looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.” Upon seeing the resurrected Christ, Thomas cried out, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28). Likewise, the book of Hebrews gives us God the Father’s direct testimony about Christ: “But of the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever" and the gospel of John calls Jesus “the only begotten God” (John 1:18). Another way the Bible teaches that Jesus is God is by showing that he has all of the attributes of God. He knows everything (Matthew 16:21; Luke 11:17; John 4:29), is everywhere (Matthew 18:20; 28:20; Acts 18:10), has all power (Matthew 8:26-27; 28:18; John 11:38-44; Luke 7:14-15; Revelation 1:8), depends on nothing outside of himself for life (John 1:4; 14:6; 8:58), rules over everything (Matthew 28:18; Revelation 1:5; 19:16;), never began to exist and never will cease to exist (John 1:1; 8:58), and is our Creator (Colossians 1:16). In other words, everything that God is, Jesus is. For Jesus is God. Specifically, Jesus Is God the Son In order to have a more complete grasp of Christ’s incarnation, it is necessary to have some sort of understanding of the Trinity. The doctrine of the Trinity states that God is one being, and this one God exists as three distinct Persons. This truth means, first of all, that we must distinguish each Person of the Trinity from the other two. The Father is not the Son or the Holy Spirit, the Son is not the Holy Spirit or the Father, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father or the Son. They are each a distinct center of consciousness, a distinct form of personal existence. Yet, they all share the exact same divine nature/essence. Thus, the three persons are one being. The divine being/essence is not something that is divided between the Persons with each Person receiving one-third. Rather, the divine being is fully and equally possessed by all three Persons such that all three Persons are each fully and equally God. How does the fact that God is three Persons in one Being relate to the incarnation? To answer, let’s consider another question: Which Person became incarnate in Jesus Christ? All three? Or just one? Which one? The biblical answer is that only God the Son became incarnate. The Father did not become incarnate in Jesus and neither did the Holy Spirit. Thus, Jesus is God, but he is not the Father or the Holy Spirit. Jesus is God the Son. The truth that it is only God the Son who became incarnate is taught, for example, in John 1:14, which says “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” In context, the Word is God the Son (cf. 1:1, 18, and 3:16). Thus, it wasn’t the Father or the Holy Spirit who became man, but God the Son. Likewise, at Jesus’s baptism we see the Father affirming, “You are my beloved Son, in You I am well pleased” (Luke 3:22). He did not say, “You are me, and with myself I am well pleased.” Rather, the Father affirmed that Jesus is the Son, his Son, and that Jesus is well pleasing to him. In this same verse we also see that the Holy Spirit is distinct from the Father and the Son, for the Holy Spirit is present in “bodily form like a dove.” Why is it important to know that Jesus is specifically God the Son? For one thing, if we do not understand this truth, we will be mistaken about the very identity of our Savior. Further, it greatly affects how we relate to our triune God. If we think that Jesus is the Father or the Holy Spirit, we will be greatly misguided and confused in our prayers. Last, it is considered heresy to believe that the Father became incarnate in Jesus. Jesus Is Man It should be obvious that if Jesus is God, then he has always been God. There was never a time when he became God, for God is eternal. But Jesus has not always been man. The fantastic miracle is that this eternal God became man through the incarnation approximately 2,000 years ago. That’s what the Incarnation was: God the Son becoming man. And that is the great event we celebrate at Christmas. But what exactly do we mean when we say that God the Son became man? We certainly do not mean that he turned into a man in the sense that he stopped being God and started being man. Jesus did not give up any of his divinity in the incarnation, as is evident from the verses we saw earlier. Rather, as one early theologian put it, “Remaining what he was, he became what he was not.” Christ “was not now God minus some elements of his deity, but God plus all that he had made his own by taking manhood to himself.”3 Thus, Jesus did not give up any of his divine attributes at the incarnation. He remained in full possession of all of them. For if he were to ever give up any of his divine attributes, he would cease being God. The truth of Jesus’s humanity is just as important to hold to as the truth of his deity. The apostle John teaches how denying that Jesus is man is of the spirit of the antichrist (1 John 4:2; 2 John 7). Jesus’s humanity is displayed in the fact that he was born as a baby from a human mother (Luke 2:7; Galatians 4:4), that he became weary (John 4:6), thirsty (John 19:28), and hungry (Matthew 4:2), and that he experienced the full range of human emotions such as marvel (Matthew 8:10) and sorrow (John 11:35). He lived on earth just as we do. John 14: 5-7 Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”…

Dont be a Nicodemus. Learn from the ancestors. He who believes in him is not condemned, and he who believes him not is condemned already. Your sins will not wash away on its own . It can only be forgiven by Jesus for he bore the sins for all and was wounded for transgressions. And Its his sacrifice that gives us hope and Salvation. Its through his suffering we can have forgiveness through his knowledge and grace.

G-d threatened the Nation of Israel with consequences like lack of rain and exile - not individual people. When you look at Jewish history, these things are verifiable. For example, in Leviticus 26, all of Jewish history is basically foretold - including going into exile in lands of enemies, and finally returning to the Promised Land after centuries of being cut off. All these things were threatened by G-d, and all these things happened in history.

I am the LORD, and there is no other; there is no God but Me. I will equip you for battle, though you have not known Me, so that all may know, from where the sun rises to where it sets, that there is none but Me; I am the LORD, and there is no other. - (Isaiah 45:5-6) Where does that say trinity? I know there's a trinity in the Trimurti I will not execute the full fury of My anger; I will not turn back to destroy Ephraim. For I am God and not man- the Holy One among you- and I will not come in wrath. (Hosea 11:9) "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. (Qur'an 20:14) Appearing as a man means to become a man, even if that is temporary. What is so enigmatic is man's fascination in integrating God with the creation. He Is SO MUCH MORE powerful than that, He is Separate from it all whether you like it or not.

@@maluill If I call a man or woman "the one who sees all", or "the light of the world" (which I will never do) - there are 2 possibilities: his qualities are being exaggerated because we believe them to be very wise or generous (generic), or I am ascribing qualities of God to this man or woman, which is blasphemy. You're forgetting a few things: Jesus (as) doesn't know the hour, nor do the angels - only Allah knows that. Jesus (as) also said according to the Bible that he by himself can do NOTHING, only by the WILL of God can he do what he does. Allah eloquently states that Jesus (as) and his mother ate, and slept - how can a god do this? Allah also warns us that Jesus (as) will be raised on judgement day in front of all people, especially those how worshipped him, and he will be asked if he declared godship, he will deny it an give all glory to Allah, stating God already knows what's in his heart, but he doesn't know what's in God's. Does Jesus know what God's next plans are before He has revealed them? You are naught but a blasphemous man following a perversion. La Ilaha Il Allah! Alhumdulillah. Weep all you want, gnash your teeth and beat your chest like a Samoon all you want, Allah is THE LORD GOD, and He will have the final Say, and there are no gods beside Him.

@Sam Samuels Jesus also appeared in the old testament multiple times. Both to Elijah and Moses. One example is in 1st Kings 19:1-15. Jesus is the Word of the Lord that appears to Elijah and speaks the same Words as The Lord who repeats what the Word of the Lord asked Elijah because the Lord and Word of the Lord are One and the same God but distinct persons. Jesus also appears as the Angel of Yaweh such as in Exodus 23 to 33 and Judges 13. But that's to much information to deconstruct on here. Be assured though that Jesus is well and alive both now and the old testament

Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth- those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
